Chapter 34

I woke up on bed today I checked my phone on my wooden bedside table my eyes scanning my dorm room before I looked back down at my phone

Nothing

I then got up yawning loudly walking towards the closet getting ready for school I took out a pair of loose black shorts and a silky white shirt that hugged at my torso I quickly brushed my hair tying it into a pony tail putting on my shoes I begun to walk towards the hall where the guys and I always met up I walked outside my dorm locking the door I strode down the hallway walking fastly a door opened before me and it was Teresa "hey" I said with a smile "hello" she replied softly smiling back

We started to walk together down the hallway where all the dorms were perfectly numbered and set out, "what do you have first?" I asked "english" she answered "what about you?" i thought for a moment "free period" I answered she nodded her head "are you okay?" I asked as she didn't seem to be herself lately "yeah fine" "are you sure?" I said furrowing my eyebrows at her "just a little bummed out because I got kicked off the squad" it made sense now "ohh okay" I said not carelessly though

The guys and i all met up in the hall talking about regionals it was in two days and we were all pumped for it but nervous as heck and we could all feel it

The bell rung and I waited for a moment and it was Jamie and I who both had a free period off and he smiled at me his blue eyes watching me carefully "so what do you wanna do?" He asked "I don't care" I answered "follow me" he said and I trailed after him

It was clear that he was taking me to the football field, Jamie retrieved a ball from the locker room and came back a bright smile spreading across his face as he threw the ball to me I caught it and slighty smirked at him

"One on one?" I said and he nodded his head in agreement

I started off with the ball beginning to run he headed towards me ready to tackle me but lucky enough I dodged him with a spin and ran half the field hoping he woodly come after me and he didn't I voted and then started to walk back I grinned sheepishly "very nice Miller" I suspiciously watched him "miller? You never call me that?" He shrugged his shoulders weightlessly "I thought id try it out" he repiled "it doesn't sound right when you say it" I said "I'm offended he said and put his hands in air chuckling and I let a slight laugh "so my start Miller" he teased grinningly and I rolled my eyes sarcastically

As we played for almost an hours worth of a period it was his ball and he was coming after me for a tackle, he was able to pull me onto the ground with such force his eyes on mine our faces inches apart as we both fell on the ground his eyes looked like they were starring into my soul seeing our truly beautiful it was but I didn't seem to think so in that exact moment I felt his lips connect to mine the passion he put into his kiss was as if he was never going to see me again it felt like the feeling I got when we win a game as he pulled away he slightly looked away then am down at me and I begun speaking

"I better get going" I said and pushed him off of me laughing I got to my feet brushing off some of the dirt he followed after me and I tossed the football back to him as we were apart to part he spoke "hey Jess" his voice trailed off "yeah" I answered "what does this mean for us?" He asked "i don't know yet" I said and started to walk off trying to avoid the questions

I woke up knowing that tomorrow was regionals and I had to stay focused on that and if course before the game tomorrow we would have to practice so the guys and I all met at the fields as coach Tanner had assigned us to go to like normal

As everyone arrived at the field I started to head off and once I got there the guys were already practicing I heard coach Tanners voice "your late" he protested I breathed slowly regaining breath from the long walk "a queen is never late everyone else is simply early" I said proud of myself but then I got instructed to run a lap of the field

After I finished the guys were practicing some of the plays we were going to do, I put on my helmet quickly and ran onto the Felid joining the play

I ran up the field ready to pass the ball towards Chester who was supposed to score when I threw it

I thew the ball sending a wave of Shock through my arm as I threw powerfully towards him he jumped into the air catching it perfectly he ran fast but not as fast as he normally did his eyes focused in the try right infront of him

We trained for a whole period and then started to go off towards the change rooms after we had all gotten changed out of our football clothes and into a pair of casual clothes my hair was now all ruffled up and fizzy in all the wrong places, I quickly pulled out a brush and brushed it down then I ran towards my next class hoping I wouldn't be late

I woke up a jolt of excitement and feeling nauseous today was regionals and we couldn't loose coach tanner was relying on me to win regionals and take us to nationals I just hope I could do that

As lunch came around the guys and I all sat together talking about how we were going to play tonight what tactics and our strongest positions we needed to win no matter what

"So are we all ready for the game tonight?" Jamie and there were yes's coming from our table even from Teresa

The hours passed by now and there was one hour left until the game and I was at home sitting nervously shaking my hands tapping at the dining tae I sat at my eyes darting back and forward as I felt a hand on my shoulder I jumped a little and turned "its time to go" Rachel said I nodded taking in a deep breath I stood up and started to walk towards the door

What was I going to do? I thought to myself as I sat in the car clicking in the seatbelt mum was saying encouraging words clearly trying to settle me down before the game

I was now at the Felid and the hooter rang

We all ran out towards the field and got into our positions this was it this is my time and my only thought was

We must win
