One of the guys

Chapter 2

Lucy,the guys and myself walked down towards the football fields I was eager to know if I was good enough

We walked over to the coach

"Who are you?"

"My names Jessica miller and I want to try out for the team"

The coach burst into laughter "you quarterback!?"

I crossed my arms and bit my lip hard feeling it bleed

"Im sorry it's just a girl qauterback? were trying to win"

"Give me a shot"

He returned with a glance

"Go borrow some gear I'll see if your good enough

I got changed into my gear along with a blue colored helmet I slapped it on and ran out to the fields noticed they were ready to play

I stood in my position and waited for the whistle

Before I knew it I was running up the field Wesley and Jamie blocking me I then slipped the ball to jack who ran the ball up the middle and touched down

We had a couple more plays and walked off the field ripping my helmet off the guys patting me on the back good job

The coach started down at me his big brown eyes glaring at me I heard Wesley whisper in my eye

"Don't look into his eyes to long they'll steel your soul"

The team burst into laughter when the coach

He returned to me

"Agh your on the team good job today miller"

The team started to cheer and lifted me on there shoulders carrying me back to my room they dropped my off and nearly trampled me

We sat in my room playing video games eating pizza and drinking soft drink this was how I lived this was my new team

Lucy ended up sitting on my bed with me playing multi player of call of duty black opps with me

Lucy started

"I think Wesley likes you"

"Nah were just good friends that's all"

"That's not what I hear"

"What did you hear?"

"I heard the guys talking about how great of a player you were and then someone laughed and said Ohhh you like her but I wasn't sure if it was him"

"So what if he does"

"Your not used to guys liking you are you?"

"No" I said shaking my head whilst smiling

She elbowed me giving me the eyebrows

"Stop it I shouted pushing her over" and made her fall off the bed which caused her to lose the death match

I shouted and threw my hands in the air "I win!"

I heard Lucy grunt but recovery quickly

It was early in the morning I got put of my bed wearing singlet and shorts with my blonde hair pulled to the side of my shoulder I got put a slice of pizza and didn't bother warming it up

I flopped on the couch and turned on the tv

"It's to early" Lucy groaned

"I do this at my house I'm doing it here"

"Can you at least turn it down a little"

"Okay" I rolled my eyes

Once Lucy woke up she looked terrible her hair was a mess it was tangled and looked horrible

"Egh you should tie your hair up when you sleep"

"Shut up she threw a piece of pizza at me hitting me square in the face

"Ha you look terrible to now"

I threw the pizza back at her hitting her upper leg she tried to doge it back wasn't quick enough

All of a sudden we were throwing pizza at each other hiding in between spaces and running around in the room

I heard a knock on the door it wasn't the knock the guys make when they knock it was a weaker knock

I opened the door a girl was standing there wearing a pink dressing gown with slippers her hair flattened down it looked perfect

While I was holding a pizza in singlet and shorts she rolled her eyes

"Can you like shut up"

"Hmm let me think about that no"

I threw the pizza at her face squishing it in her face

She screamed and ran down the hallway screaming throwing her hangs in the air

Lucy laughed so hard she was on the floor

I was laughing too it was pretty funny

We heard another knock on the door

Lucy whispered "Ohh shit get in bed act like your sleeping"

I jumped into bed and pulled the covers universe my face

I was smirking while I faked sleeped

We heard the door bang shut and we got up

"You crazy woman"

"C'mon it was pretty funny"

We found ourselves laughing again
