Kazumi tiredly wandered into the surveillance room in the faculty dorms, dragging a warm blanket behind her that was wrapped over her shoulders. She had a cup of coffee balanced carefully between her hands, hoping to deliver it to Aizawa who was on night duty.
She'd been with Aizawa when he found out that Todoroki and Bakugou didn't pass their exams. She was pretty surprised, given that the boys were known for being top students, not to mention how she's especially tutored Bakugou and his friend group on multiple occasions.
Since Bakugou hadn't passed, but Midoriya did, Aizawa had a gut feeling that the night wasn't going to go by peacefully. So, he'd volunteered to be on surveillance duty for the night.
"Sho, I brought you–" Kazumi's face dropped as she noticed what camera Aizawa was watching.
She ventured further into the dark room, stopping besides Aizawa whose face was illuminated by the screen that displayed a fight between Midoriya and Bakugou outside the U.A. dormitories.
"Those idiots, I knew they would be fighting." Aizawa muttered, taking the coffee from Kazumi. "Thank you, Kaz, I'll need it."
Kazumi turned to him, "Shouldn't you go out there and stop them?"
Aizawa shook his head, "I've learned not to interfere until I deem it too dangerous. It's better to let them get all that steam out once they're already at it."
His logic made perfect sense, but she couldn't help but be worried that Midoriya was going to explode to bits by the end of their fight.
Alas, she pulled a swivel chair to Aizawa's side before taking a seat, pulling the blanket over her lap and sharing it with Aizawa who gratefully snuggled into its warmth.
Truth be told, Kazumi wasn't present for most of Bakugou and Midoriya's fights. She heard a bit of bickering during classes, but never anything as serious as what was happening now.
She never agreed with how Bakugou treated Midoriya and she told him off whenever she got the chance. But hearing him so burdened and emotional as he spoke to Midoriya, her heart couldn't help but ache.
"I have to admit, even though I hate when they fight, their battles sure are entertaining." Aizawa confessed, Kazumi snorting.
"Very mature, Sho." Kazumi rolled her eyes. "They're being reckless. Someone is going to get hurt."
Aizawa clicked his tongue, glancing at her momentarily.
"You should be in bed, young lady." Aizawa strictly chided, "if you want to stay up with me, you have to be quiet."
Kazumi slightly pouted, crossing her arms as she leaned back in her chair.
The two suddenly jumped as Bakugou fell backwards from the own impact of his explosion, Midoriya yelling out to him to check if he was okay. He had run over to the angry male and held his hand out to him to help him up.
Aizawa made a small noise of interest as Bakugou slapped his hand, more yelling erupting from the wild blonde. Kazumi couldn't help but think that Aizawa was enjoying this a little bit too much. If he had a bucket of popcorn in his arms, perhaps it would look like he was watching a movie in the cinemas from the intrigued glint in his eye.
