The sun had risen earlier then usual. Clarke almost didn't get up but she had to be. Roan and Clarke did had "business" to discuss. Once Clarke had gotten ready she headed downstairs before she felt a knife against her throat.

"You are not welcome here wanheda" an azgeda guard said not pleased.
Another azgeda guard came up the stairs looking surprised.
"Wanheda!?" The guard said shocked.
"We have to warn the king" the guard said.
The other guard nodded as they walked into Roan's dining room.
Roan looked at them shocked.

"Lower your knife!" Roan said a little worried.
The guards looked confused but they lowered the knife roughly while pushing Clarke like she was some kind of toy. Clarke then hit the table as Roan ran toward her making sure she was ok.

Roan looked back at the guards.
"Get out" Roan said in a angry tone.
The guards looked back confused.
"Sire we-" the guard said as he got cut off.
"I said get out" Roan yelled.
The guards had then left scared by Roan's tone.
Roan looked at the door angry but he calmed himself and turned his attention back to Clarke.
"You ok?" Roan asked concerned as he lifted up her chin.

After Roan lifted her head up he had saw blood dripping from her throat from the knife that the guard had against her. Roan looked pissed.
"I'm ok" Clarke Groaned as she tried pulling herself up.
Roan had then put his palm against the side of her throat softly while the other was around her waist keeping her steady.

"NYKO!" Roan called for the healer.
Roan looked back at Clarke.
"You aren't ok Clarke" Roan said quietly.
"I am Roa-"Clarke said before getting cut off.
"Don't speak" Roan demanded.
Nyko then opened the doors.
Before nyko had said anything, Clarke had caught his attention.
"Give her to me" nyko said as he walked over taking Clarke out of Roan's arms.

fast forward after Clarke was stable.

Roan ran into medical.
"How is Clarke" Roan said a little worried.
Nyko turned around.
"Her throat was slit partially causing her to have trouble with breathing and a few bruises that will be sore for a few days but she's lucky" nyko replied.

Roan nodded his head with his arms crossed.
"If you don't mind me asking sire, what had happened?" Nyko asked.
"A few of my guards took her as a threat and shoved her against the table" Roan replied.
"That explains the bruising" nyko said under his breath.

Roan cleared his throat looking at Clarke. Nyko looked back as he realized.
"Im going to go and work on my other patient" Nyko said awkwardly as he walked away.
Roan then sat next to Clarke, Watching her. He had hoped she would wake up so he could make sure she was ok. But soon he had felt a hand on top of his.

"You ok?" Roan asked.
"Are you?" Clarke smiled softly.
Roan just stared at Clarke.
"Roan, I'm fine" Clarke groaned as she got up.
"You should rest" Roan said.
"I don't need rest Roan" Clarke argued.
"If your worried about those guards I put them into custody" Roan said.

"You didn't need to do that Roan, in their defense they didn't even know I was staying here" Clarke responded.
"They could've killed you Clarke, what else do you think I would've done?" Roan argued.
"So you do care?" Clarke said sarcastically.
"Funny" Roan joked.

Fast forward to nightfall.

Clarke was laying in her bed thinking about Roan she couldn't get him out of her mind.
Maybe because of what happened that night. Clarke decided She would pay Roan a visit. As Clarke walked out of her chambers she had looked around and that's when she saw a decorated room outside of the doors across the hall from her, Clarke assumed that it was Roan's. Clarke then knocked on his door.
Roan opened his doors and to his surprise it was Clarke.

"Clarke? Is there anything you need" Roan asked.
No, Clarke only came to see him because he was stuck in her mind.
"Actually, no I just wanted to see you" Clarke replied.
Roan gave her a confused look.
"Did I come at a bad time?" Clarke asked.
"No it's just- were you thinking about me?" Roan smiled.
Clarke rolled her eyes.
"Can I come in or not" Clarke asked annoyed.

Roan opened up his door wider for Clarke, letting her come inside. Clarke looked around, his room was huge.
"This is bigger then Lexa's room" Clarke said while admiring the ceiling.
"I'm a king Clarke" Roan said sarcastically.
"Pretty big for just a king" Clarke mumbled loud enough for Roan to hear.
"You think someone else sleeps in here" Roan asked.

Clarke turned around.
"No, I'm jus-" Clarke said before she had gotten interrupted.
"What if I did? Would you be jealous" Roan asked in a certain tone that made Clarke shiver.
"Why would I be jealous? Should i?" Clarke asked  sarcastically.
Roan smirked.
Before Roan could reply there was a knock at his door.

"Quick get under the bed" Roan whispered as he helped her get under his bed.
Another knocked arrived at his door.
"Who is it!" Roan yelled as he hid Clarke.
"Echo sire" Echo replied.
Roan then got up heading to the door.
"Enter" Roan said.
Echo then opened up his doors.
"Sire" echo greeted him.
"Echo, is everything alright?" Roan asked.

Echo looked up toward Roan.
"I wanted to talk about what happened with wanheda" Echo responded.
"If your concerned about her she'll be ok" Roan said.
"No sire, that's not what I'm concerned about" echo said.
Roan tilted his head wondering what she was on about.

"From what I hear, she is reckless Roan. For the commander of death she was pretty close to death" echo replied.
"What's your point here echo" Roan asked.
"I think that she doesn't deserve to have the power as wanheda" echo responded.
Roan looked over at echo confused.
"I think we should give that power to Ontari" echo suggested.

Roan looked at her like she was crazy.
"No" Roan said.
"But sire-" echo said as she got interrupted.
"I said No, we are not killing her echo" Roan shot back.

"Sire, forgive me but Clarke is a threat. She's skykru!" Echo argued.
"She's not a threat echo! She's part of azgeda now and I will not let someone unworthy take her place!" Roan yelled.
Echo looked at him bottled up with anger. There was nothing more that echo wanted but for Clarke to be dead.

Echo left his chambers not pleased. Once she had shut his doors Clarke came out from under his bed, quiet.
"I'm sorry" Clarke said breaking the silence.
Roan looked up at Clarke.
"Don't apologize Clarke" Roan replied.
"No I need too, ever since I've come here I have been nothing but trouble towards your rule" Clarke apologized.

Roan walked up to her as he held her in his grip.
"Listen to me, you were never a problem toward me or my rule. It's my people that think you should pay for my mother's death and I won't let that happen, not to you" Roan demanded.

Clarke looked up at Roan.
"Even If it means I have to pay your prices" Roan promised Clarke.
"You know I can't let you pay my prices Roan" Clarke replied.
"Then you know I won't let you leave" Roan said as he looked at her serious.

Clarke smiled.
"Thank you Roan" Clarke replied softly.
"You'll always have me" Roan said while he gave a slight smile.
