Don't Go Away (Leif x Reader)

~Chapter 29~

     "Ava! Ava my baby! Wake up!"

     Y/N and Leif exit the bathroom together, brushing and straightening out their clothes. She quickly waves her hands over her head, her horns disappearing.

     The pizzeria is a bit packed, but the family's sitting down turned around, watching the scene of a girl passed out on the floor and two men wanting her to wake up.

     "Pumpkin?! Devon this isn't good, she's been passed out longer than ever before!" Andrew is bent down, panicking, and talking to his husband.

     "Wait... is that Ava?" Y/N questions Leif, who shrugs.

     "I'm gonna call 911!" Devon stands up straight, pulling out his phone from his pocket.

     Ava starts to cough, her eyes opening up.

     "Wait... I don't need-"

     "Ava! Are you alright?! What happened?!" Y/N rushes over, bending down to Ava's side to help her sit up.

     "Pumpkin!" Andrew shouts.

     "We were so worried about you!" Devon cries.

     Suddenly, the waiter comes over, claiming he's here to help. A bucket filled with water to the brim is in his hands, splashing it on Ava's head.

     "Ah! Cold!" Ava jolts, shivering instantly.

     "Thank you for your assistance Marco, we'll take it from here," Andrew looks at him dully, thanking him.

     "Ah, of course! Pizza's on the house for this one, just make sure Ava's alright," The waiter tells her. "Are you positive you don't want me to call you an ambulance or anything?"

     "No, this is common for Ava, we're fine," Devon admits.

     "What is going on?" Leif mutters, confused about the scene in front of him.

     "Oh, alright, but what should I tell her boyfriend?" Marco asks.

     "My boyfriend?" Ava repeats.

     "Noi?" Y/N wonders.

     "Oh no! Wait... where are they?" Ava remembers what happened earlier.

     "We asked them to wait outside," Andrew informs. "Ava, you got a lot of explaining to do."

     "Wait, what happened while we were gone?" Y/N speaks up.

     "Uh... well," Ava stutters.

     "Three men appeared, basically fighting for Ava, wanting to be her husband," Devon explains.

     Y/N and Leif look even more puzzled, exactly why were their colleagues fighting for Ava's hand in marriage?

     Everyone walks out of the restaurant once Ava stands up and is no longer feeling dizzy. The Daemos are formed in a circle, talking amongst themselves and strategizing.

     Y/N, Leif, Andrew, Devon, and Ava tread in front of the group, the Daemos' conversation ending. Noi's face is completely red, for some reason.

     Y/N glares at all of them, specifically Asch. Leif still doesn't understand what's happening.

     "She's alright, Noi... and friends?" Andrew questions the last part.

     "Ava, would you care to tell us what's happening?" Devon wonders.
