Don't Go Away (Leif x Reader)

~Chapter 3~

     As Asch walks through the portal and everyone follows behind him, Y/N is the last to walk in, hesitating.

     "Is there something wrong?" Lady Grandma asks her.

     "I-, uh, I don't know if I should go," Y/N states, taking a step back from the portal.

     "You need to. Something about this place tells me you'll find the last two elements of your power," Lady Grandma nods her head toward Earth.

     "You think so?" Y/N looks down at her with a hopeful expression.

     "I believe so. You can control the majority of elements here on Daemos but we weren't able to find the last two. This place is different than Daemos. You may find more than what you expect."

     As Lady Grandma says this, Y/N touches the crown on her head. The six stones wrap around the vine, containing the elements that she could control. Earth, dirt and rock, Plants, the vine, Air/Wind, Water, and Fire. The stones given to her by her grandmother are meant to trap certain objects or items. They searched everywhere on Daemos to try and search for the last two elements that she could've controlled.

     "I-I'll go, then, wish us luck," Y/N nods goodbye and walks into the portal.

     Asch leads the way as his knights and Y/N walk behind him. They appear in an alleyway behind a tall building. Asch looks around the unfamiliar arena, as does everyone else.

     "Where do we even start?" Leif whispers to Y/N, who stands right next to him.

     "I don't know, we'll just have to follow my brother on this one," Y/N leans toward him, whispering so that her brother wouldn't hear.

     "That should go well," Leif laughs silently. Y/N rolls her eyes playfully at him and continues looking around.

     "So this is E-arth," Asch says. "It's-"

     "Burning!" Noi starts to scream, interrupting what Asch had to say.

     "What's wrong?!" Rhys asks.

     "My skin is on fire!" Noi screams more.

     "Hang on I can-" Leif starts to choke.

     Y/N begins to cough as well, the air in the atmosphere not clear, and the bright light burning her skin.

     "The... air-" Peirce falls to the ground to one knee.

     "I-I didn't expect the environment to affect us so much," Rhys states, crouching down. Y/N suddenly waves her hand and she gets back up with ease.

     "P-Princess, are... you alright?" Leif asks, gasping for air in the process.

     "Perfect, you guys okay?" Y/N asks, hand on her hips.

     "How.. are you not a-affected?" Peirce questions.

     "It's called using my element of wind, that way I can breathe," Y/N says. She walks away from the shadows toward Noi and reaches out to help him to the shade. As she reaches out to the lit-up area, the light bends toward Leif's eye.

     "Hey!" Leif shuts his eyes. Y/N pulls back her hands from the lighted side.

     "O-Oh! Sorry I was just-" Y/N reaches back out towards Noi and the light bends again towards a wall. "Woah-"

     "Your highness... not m-meaning to be rude but we have... a more, serious m-matter," Rhys states.

     "Right," Y/N looks back at Noi and pulls him up to the shaded area. Y/N sets him on the ground and looks at everyone else.
