As I sat in the company's lunchroom, my attention was divided between my MacBook and Dejanae. My fingers raced across the keyboard, crafting an email to send to the client before the fast-approaching 1:45 pm deadline.

However, despite the pressing nature of my work, I listened with interest as Deej spoke about the progress of her situation with the artist, Kash, and shared the details of her blossoming romance.

Apparently, they exchanged numbers at the gym and they have been conversing ever since. Their connection had grown stronger over the short time span and their conversation had escalated to the point where Kash took her to the studio with him the following Tuesday.

Now, she's recounting the first date they went on last night.

"A weh yuh nah say." I uttered, glancing at her with a grin.

"Yes girl, him carry me go Chez Maria. Me nuh know if yuh know it, but ye we go desso. And yeah, him post a no face no case of us."

My mouth gaped and I stopped typing on my laptop, "Make me see it."

Dejane tilted her head back, letting out a peal of laughter, before reaching over to grab her phone from the table. With a quick flick of her thumb, she navigated to Instagram and pulled up Kash's profile. She excitedly showed me a recent post, and I leaned in to get a better look.

I took in the visuals first, admiring the carefully composed shots then read the caption, taking in the witty and affectionate words that Kash had written.
