Dark...

It's dark...

I can't see anything. I tried to blink but still nothing.

I tried to move but something was preventing me from doing so.

I tried to lift my hands and that's when I noticed the cold metal hugging my frail hands. The same chains were attached to my feet.

Where am I?

Hello?

I tried to speak but nothing came out of my mouth.

Hello?!

I tried again. My voice... it's gone.

I heard footsteps not far from me.

Is anyone there?!

Even though I know that person's not going to hear me... I still tried to scream at the top of my lungs.

It was a man. A faint light is coming from where he is.

At first, I thought he was coming over to me. Then I noticed his figure's starting to get smaller... and smaller.

No! Come back!

I yelled. I tried to pull my hands from the chains for the last time but it was no use.

He stopped and looked at me.

It's... Tyler.

Tyler!

Still nothing.

Help me!

He turned his back to me and continued his tread.

He's leaving. No no no.

"Tyler! Don't leave me!"

I finally heard my voice.

"Krysh?"

I jolted up on my bed. I was sweating. I squinted as light flooded my eyes.

Where am I?

"Are you okay?", a voice asked, his voice etched with concern.

What happened? The last thing I remember was...

I looked at the man beside me. He smiled gently.

"I'm not going to leave you. I'm just going to go to the pharmacy.", he kidded and raised a piece of paper which I think is a prescription.

That's when it hit me.

My eyes widened. Did I just say that out loud?

"I... I'm just dreaming.", were the words that I uttered.

He tilted his head and his smile grew wider. I shouldn't have said that.

"I'm in your dreams? And you're begging me not to leave you?"

I wanted to roll my eyes so badly but my head is killing me. "Shut up.", was all I managed to say.

He chuckled.

"I wonder what you were dreaming to tell me not to leave you."

I did not bother to reply to his remarks. I'm thankful that Van also entered the room right that instant.

"You're up.", he said with a smile.

He nodded to Tyler and went straight to my side. Tyler looked at me knowingly and smiled before he went out of the room.

Argh. I shouldn't have said that.

"How are you feeling?", Van asked, pulling the chair beside my bed.
