"Y/n Y/l/n, they're ready for you. Please follow me." I nod, clearing my throat as I calm down my heartbeat. I give the young man an awkward smile, following him although it's more like I'm jogging after him because of his big ass steps.
Suddenly he comes to a halt and knocks twice at a wooden door.
"Come in!"
The man opens the door, gives me an encouraging smile when he moves to the side and finally opens the door wider to let me in. "Thank you" I smile back.
As I enter I'm met with a plain but big room, a table in the middle, full of people looking at their devices.
I again clear my throat, now standing in front of the table where a space was made, probably for the people auditioning. A man looks up at me, well not just any man.
"Hello I'm Y/n Y/l/n, I am 23 years old and I would like to audition for the role of Divina." I say when they all look at me expectantly.
"Nice to meet you Y/n, my name is Tim Burton as you might know. We would like you to read a few lines for us today, have you prepared anything specific?" he asks in a serious tone, his eyes scanning me, his look staying neutral.
"Uh yes." I say, smiling at them as I take a deep breath.
I tell them scene I'm auditioning with as the camera gets set up, the girl who will be filling in for Wednesday coming over while everyone goes quiet.
