Consider a whumpee who can't take pills at all. They tried and tried and couldn't make it happen. They wanted to get better and take the medicine! They cried and choked with Caretaker trying to get the pills down and finally, Caretaker put an end to the pain. They took the meds, opened the pills and put the powder in some pudding, wiped Whumpee's tears and replaced the empty cup of water in Whumpee's hands with the pudding and a spoon.
Pudding can be replaced with soup, juice, anything strongly flavored and can dissolve the crushed/powdered medicines.
