Human Whumpee is being haunted by Ghost Whumper. Ghost Whumper is taking out their anger about their unfinished business against their enemy/lover out on Whumpee who happens to look a heck of a lot like enemy/lover.
Whumpee tries to ignore it but the scratches are becoming more noticeable and people are starting to wonder. At home, things fly across the room and doors swing open at Whumpee, hard. Whumpee is hardly getting any sleep because of the activity.
Whumpee tries moving away but Whumper follows because they're attached to Whumpee and not a place or object. Finally, Whumpee seeks the help of a religious/occult leader who says they can help.
Cut to a cleansing of the house and blessing of Whumpee. Whumper either gets sent away OR they possess the leader and take the chance to physically attack Whumpee and hold them captive.
