Whumpee screams in their sleep and wakes both themselves and the Caretaker who shares the bed with them but Whumpee doesn't realize it's them screaming.

They think Caretaker is having nightmares so they try to get Caretaker to feel better at night by talking about sleeping. "How did you sleep?" "Did you have any dreams?" "Are you sleeping ok?" And of course, Caretaker uses this as a chance to ask Whumpee about it themselves, sneakily getting in some talk therapy about THEIR nightmares.

Meanwhile, Whumpee has no clue and continues on by making cups of soothing tea for both of them and gets them both into a nighttime ritual of doing calming things before bed and meditation.

Whumpee's night terrors start to lessen as they lead a better lifestyle focused on recovery leading to less night screaming occurrences. Whumpee is so proud of themselves, thinking they helped their friend. Caretaker is proud that Whumpee inadvertently helped themselves.
