CHAPTER SEVEN
DEAR BEST FRIEND.
A knock came through on my door as i was still fixing myself on the mirror. I went to open and got the biggest surprise of my life.
Me: "Kabelo??"
Her: "Siyamthanda Nkabinde"
We screamed at each other as we hugged and shoulder bumped.
Kabelo is a stud, she used to be my best friend back in high school. The last time we saw each other was when we went to get our matric results at school and we lost contact and never saw each other again. I heard she went to Durban University Of Technology but I never heard of her ever again. I was so happy to see her
We hugged some more as she sat down
Her: "Ntwana Yami, when last did we see each other? I'm in Pta for the holidays and I heard you also around so I thought I should come pay you a visit it's been long"
Me: "yeah mannn, we've got some serious catching up to do"
Her: "why does it look like you're going somewhere?"
Me: "Yeah I'm going to Soweto bro, let's go"
Her: "Who you going to visit eSoweto? Your girl?"
Me: "Lol Nah, we just friends"
We both fixed ourselves and to be honest we were so happy to see each other and we were seriously gonna catch up on our way to visit Ayanda. We added on a cologne before walking out. I'm just glad my car was clean,
We got into the road and stopped at our nearby liquor store. Kabelo and Alcohol can never be separated shem. We bought some drinks and we were ready to hit the road, I then dialled Ayanda
Her: "King Siya"
When she said that Kabelo quickly looked at me and chuckled
Me: "Hey, I'm on my way Neh"
Her: "Alright No Problem, I'll send you the address shortly"
Me: "Look, I'll be coming with a friend. I hope that's okay with you"
Her: "Sure, no problem"
Me: "are you sure"
Her: "Lol yes that's totally fine Siya"
I then hung up and looked at Kabelo who was just smiling
Kabelo: "king Siya??"
I laughed totally ignoring her and she laughed as well
Kabelo: "so who's this girl that's making you drive all the way to Soweto? Have you ever been there before?"
Me: "Dude one, we're honestly just friends and two, I go to UJ obviously I know what Soweto Looks Like"
Kabelo: "I don't believe the friends part though but it's Okay"
We spent the entire time on the road drinking, listening to music and doing a lot catching up, although I wasn't drinking because I was driving. Soweto is just like Pta very busy.
We followed the navigation and got into Ayanda's street. And it said your destination is on the left, so I decided to call her
Her: "hello?"
