Lauren's pov
as soon as i got them messages i knew katie would need everyone with her,and i needed people's help with what was about to be said, i could see katie getting ready in the back lounge and she smiled at me as she closed the door, "is everything okay" Sasha asked looking at me worried, i pulled her to the front of the bus as far away from katie as possible, "we've just been told about demi lovato and katie has no idea about what's happened, iv called and messaged everyone to come and help when we tell katie" i said feeling sasha wrap their arms round me,i seen katie come out the bunks and look at me, "am i still not allowed to talk to demi and her sisters or something, no one's answering any message iv sent" katie said looking worried, "no babe everything okay maybe their all really busy" i said smiling but feeling awful for not telling the truth, just then i heard the door knock and I went to answer it, i seen cari,alex, emlyn and lauren all stood looking at me sadly, "iv not told her yet i'm waiting until camila dinah and normani come here" i said watching everyone nod, cari wrapped her arms round me as everyone else walked in" if you need me to take her after we tell her i will do" cari said as i nodded, we walked onto the bus and katie ran to everyone, "shall we go to the venue or are you waiting for everyone to come here" cari asked looking at me, "we could go to the venue i'll tell everyone to meet us their" i said walking onto the bus, "CARI" katie screamed running at cari and hugging her,"shall we go to the venue now and get some snacks for everyone" i asked smiling as everyone stood up and walked to the venue, just then i got a text of camila and dinah in the whatsapp chat
camila😌: where nearly here just got mani as well are you okay 😔
dinah😎: lo where in the lot now are we going to the bus or venue
me: i have no idea if i'm okay iv just lied to katie saying demi and her sisters might be busy because they've not replied to her 😔😔
and dinah come the venue everyone cari and the girls are here already 🥺🥺
Katie's pov
as we were walking to the venue i seen camila, dinah and normani, and knew something was wrong cari had her arm wrapped round my shoulder and her other hand holding mine, we walked through the venue and reached a empty room i watched everyone walk in, camila, dinah and normani all stood with lauren whispering and i could feel the panic growing inside me, cari alex and lauren all moved closer to me " theirs no easy way to say this babe but something has happened to demi" lauren said looking upset, everything felt like slow motion i seen dinah walk over to me and couldn't say anything, "everyone here knows just as much as you okay,no one's kept any big secret all this literally just happened in the last few hours, from what we can tell she has been taken to the hospital and that's why no one's replying to you" dinah said looking at me," you never got to meet her friend lauren or mathew but they have both added you on twitter, do you remember her dancer dani" lauren asked as i nodded, "she is with demi right now in the hospital so are her mom, sisters and mathew we do know she is breathing but can't talk, maddie might not reply but iv been getting reply's from dallas and her mom and mathew" camila said looking at me worriedly, i watched as normani walked over to me and wrapped her arms round me,it was then that i broke down, i could feel someone carrying me out the room and back to the bus i must of cried myself to sleep, i woke up and panicked "hey hey it's okay" i heard cari say pulling me back to lie down and wrapping her arms round me, i calmed down and relaxed, not fully but enough to calm down " Lauren said we can stay in the bus if you want the others are outside and Alex has gone to get everyone some food" cari said looking at me,"i don't know what to do" i said my voice breaking and new tears sliding down my face, just then Lauren and Alex walked in, " i should of stayed with her" i said feeling cari pull me closer to her, "you know this isn't your fault at all in anyway, from the updates we're getting phil and mike have left her and she is now awake but still can't talk" alex said looking at me, i looked down as lauren and camila walked into the bus, "can you come and eat some food babe, no one's leaving everyone's staying here i didn't have a show today we just came to the venue early" lauren said looking at me sadly, i looked at my phone and gasped
madie: hey do you want me to put you in the family group chat demi is doing good something happened and we're just trying to figure out why non of us were with her other then some dancers earlier in the night it was after they all went home that it happened😕
i didn't realise how bad i was crying until i felt cari take my phone and hand it to camila and dinah" no no wait it's madie she messaged"i said looking round the room," you can go in the family group chat babe lauren and mathew are in their as well" camila said looking at me.
cari's pov
i could tell katie was in shock with everything, the girls where trying to act normal but katie was about to explode with emotions, i watched as katie jumped up and ran to the back lounge again i was in front of her and ran into the lounge as she closed the door, i heard her gasp as she seen me, i seen the tears falling down katie's face and wrapped my arms round her, "cari you guys okay" i heard alex ask through the door, "we'll be fine" i said keeping hold of katie, i walked us to the seats and got katie to lie down on me so her head was on my shoulder, i watched as lauren walked into the back lounge, "i'm not leaving you" katie said as silent tears glided down her cheeks, "baby i don't think a tours good for you,not with the news you have just had" i said keeping hold of katie, "please don't make me leave"katie said sounding heartbroken, " i'm not making you leave babe but i think someone should stay with you, you know how tours go i'll be busy as hell tomorrow again" lauren looked at katie and then at me, " you know if you come with me my lot won't leave at all, lauren and alex have said they will stay on the bus with you if you really don't want to leave here, but also if they think your struggling their bringing you to mine" i said watching katie nod, "camila, dinah and mani have all said that they don't want you to be alone at all, but do we agree that if we think your not coping then you go with cari until someone can come for you" lauren asked we watched as katie nodded.
