WHAT can you give to someone who already has everything?

Other people would consider giving something that has a deeper meaning than what it seems. While some stupid people would say, 'give them nothing.ʼ

There are countless answers for my simple yet boggling question. But, have you ever asked a person who has everything what would they really want?

Unfortunately, Iʼm one of those people who seem to have everything. 'Money can buy anything,ʼ they say. From the most expensive dresses, branded bags, luxurious accessories — money can buy anything, even a personʼs will.

But can money buy love? Love that is genuine and real. No deception, no lies. Just someone who loves you for who you are and not for what you have.

I winced as soon as I tasted the unfamiliar bitter flavor of my drink. Iʼm not really into alcoholic beverages. This is actually my first time trying one. I just hope that this will take all the pain away.

"Miss Penelope, tama na po. Umuwi na po tayo. Sigurado po akong hinahanap na po kayo nila Sir Fletcher." I could hear my driverʼs distressed voice near me.

Even though my head feels like it's spinning around, I managed to turn to him. "Will you please shut up, Pascal? Hayaan mo na ako!" I said, averting my gaze to the dazzling neon lights scattered around the area.

"Pero, Miss Penelope—"

"Can you just please leave me alone?! I don't fucking care if my dadʼs going to find me! Just please, stay away from me!" I snapped, my voice being clouded by the loud music playing.

Before I could even catch his reaction, I quickly turned away and started entertaining myself again with the glass of martini I ordered. Moments later, I felt him walk away from me.

"Fuck!" I couldnʼt help but cuss after finishing my drink. That was my first alcohol ever. I donʼt know why, pero hindi naman nito nabawasan ang sakit na nararamdaman ko.

Tsk... Looks like I believed in another lie again, huh?

Why the fuck am I here again?

"Ano ba'ng tingin mo sa 'kin, Cora? Tanga?!"

"Hindi ako tanga, Cora. Alam kong may gusto ka kay Mason. Alam kong may gusto ka sa lalaking mahal ko! Pero hindi ko 'yon pinansin. Alam mo kung bakit? Kasi kaibigan kita eh..."
