PENNY

DAYS have passed since I talked with Remi.

I should stop thinking about that since it's none of my business anymore. I'm done being a fool for him.

My mind is too preoccupied with other stuff that I couldn't bring myself to the teacher talking about the lecture.

"Kilala kita, Penny.

Hindi ikaw 'to.

I grunted.

Why am I even thinking about what they're saying? I chose to be like this. Kailangan kong panindigan ang desisyon kong maging ganito. I have to continue to be like this... a ruthless and savage monster.

"I donʼt care about any of you."

But do I really donʼt?

I sighed once again and when I noticed that some of my classmates were looking at me, I glared at them and it was enough for them to quickly avoid my gaze.

I have no friends to lean on these days, but I'm not complaining though. I'd rather be alone than have someone who'll betray my trust.

My stilettos were leaving thuds as I walked down the place. Iginala ko ang paningin ko and thatʼs when I felt my whole system go haywire.

I felt my hands folding into fists as my fingernails dug deeper to my palm while looking at Cora and Mason hugging on a table. They were even holding hands!

Ang kapal din talaga ng mukha ng dalawang puta na 'to, eh, 'no?

Huminga ako nang malalim at madiin na napalunok. Although I feel like I'm starting to shake in utmost rage, a devilish smile still managed to curve in my lips as I started walking towards them.

"Would you look at that?" I could feel the stares of others as the whole cafeteria fell silent at my arrival.
