(a/n): it's mark day i had to make a comeback like it's my duty to you all

sorry for going MIA and abandoning both my books, i got really busy but also at the main reason i dipped is because after going to TDS2 and seeing mahae irl AGAIN it just suddenly felt so strange to be writing about them as characters idkkk i just started feeling conflicted but i know that i'm not doing any harm here so i started feeling a lot better about it now!!

it's kinda hard for me to admit it but i've lost the initial motivation i had while writing never not but i WILL finish it since i've had the ending written for months now, i just need to find a way to get there!! as for abditory, i really love that book and i've written much much further ahead so updates for that book will be more frequent than this one (pls bear with me)

i saw all your messages and comments asking if i'm okay and i'm so sorry if i worried you!! if anyone is still reading or waiting for updates, i really appreciate you and i promise i'll finish what i started <3

That day it was Dasom's turn to be woken up by getting a pillow to the face.

Knowing she'd had a tiring night, Mark had let her sleep until eleven, although she had warned him to wake her up at ten. She had been out cold and he didn't have the heart to ruin her sleep.

"Five more minutes," Dasom groaned, pulling the covers over her head.

"Babe, I already gave you sixty extra minutes," Mark laughed, stealing the comforter from her.

Hearing his words, Dasom shot upright. When her eyes focused, she saw that Mark was already dressed up to go out "Oh shit, I better go get ready then."

Dasom brushed her teeth and took a shower as quickly as possible, and then changed into the outfit she'd picked out. Mark was wearing a simple black tee and jeans with an buttoned black and white plaid shirt over it, so she thought it would be cute to wear a black top and a black and white plaid skater skirt.

"Hey!" Mark exclaimed when she came to the living room after doing her makeup. "We're matching."

"Yup," Dasom smiled, grabbing black masks from her purse for both of them.

"Sorry you have to be wearing a mask the whole day," Mark sighed, taking it from her and putting it on. "It must be annoying to have to hide."

"On the contrary," Dasom said, taking his hand in hers and leading him out of the apartment. "I think it's kinda thrilling having a mostly secret boyfriend."

Mark knew Dasom was just saying that to make him feel better, but he appreciated it all the same.

"What are we doing?" he inquired.

"I thought we could go get you a real croissant first like you wanted," Dasom smiled.

"Aww, hell yeah," Mark said excitedly.
