"Keep them closed," Grant's voice surrounds my head with a soft vibration. His hand covers my eyes as he walks beside me, supporting me with his free arm.

I'm not sure what's happening; all I know is that a surprise awaits me, and I am to keep my eyes closed.

I don't know where we are going, but I do know we are outside, because I feel the crisp air against my pale skin.

The crickets are chirping, signifying that the sun is beginning to set, my favorite time of day. The scent of flowers blooming catches my attention, and I recognize the ground changing into some rock.

My next steps are small, as I am scared that Grant is leading me somewhere; I have never been.

God knows what crazy things he may have in store for me.

We aren't far from the hospital because it barely took a few minutes to walk into this unknown place.

"Watch your step," He says before I feel a small ledge in front of my right foot.

Grant's arm tightens a grip while I step up.

A small whisper is exchanged between two people, and a familiar smell hits my brain with a sense of comfort.

Blake's subtle cologne sends shivers down my spine. His strong voice fills my weak body with strength.

"Hey, beautiful," Blake says. Grant's hand still over my closed eyes.

"Hi!? What's going on?" I giggle as I feel his gentle hands caress the sides of my shoulders.

"I've got her," He whispers quietly to my big brother, causing Grant to loosen his grip on my arm.

"Keep your eyes closed, princess," Blake leans towards me and softly coos into my yearning ear. Grant's hand slowly moves away from my eyes, and the lighting from the outside seems to brighten.

Blake's familiar hands slowly fall from my shoulder to my hips, caressing the sides of my beige loose linen pants.

"Are they closed?" His voice seems shaky, as if he's nervous.

My heart rate fastens as I nod my head in anticipation.

What is going on?

I hear shuffling and a slight breath from Blake as his hands disappear from my hips. More shuffling arouses my perked hearing, causing me to become anxious about what's happening.

"Brynne?" Blake questions with his breath seemingly held.

I purse my lips and scrunch my eyebrows in confusion.

"Open your eyes, mi amorina."

My eyelids flutter at the sudden light, and I blink to adjust my gaze. I quickly notice that a large crowd surronds me and gawk at the sight of a tall arch covered in red roses.
