I turned around just a little when everyone else walked ahead. I was sure I saw a peacock feather materialise from the air and then show a cowherd boy with a yellow dhoti. A stick in his hand like that which cowherds carry. His curly hair was visible through the yellow turban. Flower garland around his neck.
I smiled at that. Mama is definitely more than capable of being charming. He also has ways to enchant her.
Go on, take care of the asuras for me, little Kalika. Show them exactly how Kalika fights. Virat is sending his best wishes your way. You also show them your best. The moment you have all the stones, they will tell you the story of Virat.
I joined my hands in respect to Govinda and left.
"I hope you're ready, Adi. You're facing Virat for the third time now." I held her hand.
"I'm ready, Sona. If you're there, then why should I worry?" She smiled at me.
She might be prepared for Virat and Sonakshi. I'm not sure if she is prepared to take on Nandini. That is the sore spot. No one knows it better than Virat. He's not foolish enough to leave behind the weapon that neutralises her.
I felt fear for Adi when Mama said that.
Don't tell her. She needs to figure it out herself.
I sighed.
But it was necessary that I trust Mama. He knew better for her. The vimana that brought us to Satara took us into Sutala.
The moment we stood over the transporter in Sutala, we were met by Maharaj Bali and Shukracharya.
"Virat knows you are here. He's already established armies at the gate of Sutala. It is impossible to exit Sutala right now." Maharaj Bali explained.
"Then so be it, Maharaj Bali." Akshay materialised with his bow. The bow was made out of gold with a brilliant electric blue stroke. Bright blue sapphires set in them.
"Don't be foolish, boy. He's not some little playmate of yours. He will tear you apart into sheds. You may forget that he does have Brahmastra." Maharaj Bali shushed him.
"I'm my father's son. Naraka might fall over Swarga before I give up my quest to bring each one of those responsible before my father on their knees." Akshay answered.
Shukracharya turned around, and that was when I saw Jayanti. "Is this some sort of family thing to be headsplittingly stubborn?"
She gave him a look and said, "Did you expect anything else from the child raised by my father? Then again, it was Svasurasri himself who foretold that the boy born to him would be like Meghanad. Isn't pitrubhakti something that blinded him? The same goes for this one too."
