The streets in my neighborhood were empty, as usual. The sidewalk was desolate like they always were when it was this dark out. There are no street lights or cars, not even the car that was following us. I figured I was safe now.
In the distance, I saw our black Buick in the driveway, safe and sound. I breathed a sigh of relief. She had made it home safely.
Suddenly, someone covered my mouth and held my arms from behind. They put a facemask on me and tied my arms behind my back. Then a car pulled up, and they put me in the back seat. I got drowsier and drowsier, and I realized that the facemask had sleeping drugs in it, and I slowly slipped into unconsciousness.
