Me, Jake, Levi, and Benjamin were all searching for Vladimir's group. We've been working on this for the past two days. Then, Mr. Graham called us into his office for a meeting. I hadn't seen Rodriguez for any sessions, which was suspicious, but we entered Mr. Graham's office.
"I guess you're all wondering why I gathered you here today," he started, "I'm going to be straightforward with you when I say this. Rodriguez hasn't been attending any of the meetings because Vladimir kidnapped him." Everyone started talking at once, asking how we would get him back.
"We won't," Mr. Graham stated.
"What?! We can't just leave him in the hands of that monstrous spy-killer!" Levi said anxiously.
"What if I told you that it's a trap?" Mr. Graham began, "To get us in their filthy hands, too. They're using Rodriguez."
"For what?" I asked.
"For bait. To get information about the Ace Card. So if you ever see Rodriguez anywhere, don't go near him. Please don't talk to him, don't do your work around him, or do anything involving being near or communicating with him, except for arresting him. Don't trust him until this whole thing blows over," Mr. Graham told us.
"Why? What's wrong with him? Is he a double agent?" Benjamin asked.
"No, it's just that Vladimir might put a bug or tracker on him and then let Rodriguez go so that Vladimir doesn't have to do much to get information, so until further notice..." he paused, "Rodriguez Moralés is our enemy."
