"Breakfast was delicious, mom. Thank you so much for having us." Diamond says whilst hugging her mother.

"You're welcome, my dear. I will miss you."

"Me too."

The two ladies step away from each other, with Diamond smiling from side to side. Liam stood closely behind his wife with his own smile on his face.

"Liam dear, don't be a stranger. Our home is your home."

Liam laughs, nodding. "Diamond and I will make sure to visit more."

"Travel safe, you two." Mr Miller adds on, after giving his daughter a hug.

"We will, dad. Bye!"

The two wave goodbye to the elderly parents in front of them. They drive off and begin their way back home.

Music was playing softly from the radio as Diamond made herself comfortable in Liam's car. The smile she held had not disappeared, although they had been driving for ten minutes.

Liam glances at his wife and is pleased to see her so overjoyed. This past week had been tough on his, so he was happy to see her more relaxed. Turning his attention back to the road, Liam continued en route.

"Liam." Diamond calls out.

"Yes?" Liam responds, eyes not leaving the road.

"I'm happy."

A smile forms on Liam's face before he responds.

"I'm glad."

What seemed to be an endless week passed, and the weekend had arrived. Today was the day Liam and his company would introduce their now completeled project. It is safe to say that Liam had been working endlessly this past week.

Diamond stares at her reflection on the full body mirror. Dresses in an elegant burgundy, low shouldered gown, Diamond looked magnificent. Her feet glistened with a pair of shiny black stilletos that she had bought with her dress. Deciding to leave her neckline without any jewelry, Diamond made sure to add on a nice pair of earrings along with several beads embedded in her now thick twist braids.

Satisfied with her makeup and overall look, Diamond heads downstairs.

Liam was on a phone call, giving his final instructions to his assistant. Upon hearing his wife's approaching steps, he quickly ends the call and turns around only to be left speechless.

Will there ever be a bad look on her?

There she was. His beautiful wife. Liam was speechless. He didn't know what world would properly describe the sight in front of him. Diamond never fails to leave him baffled.

"Wow." He breaths out. "You look magnificent."

Diamond smiles shyly before responding. "Thank you."

Liam shakes his head, trying to comprehend this situation. "No. You don't get it. You don't get how gorgeous you look right now." He mumbles, moving towards her.

Taking her hand, Liam twirled her around his eyes, fully examining her. What did Liam do that was so great for him to have such a beautiful woman next to him?

"You look handsome." Diamond compliments, eyes gawking at Liam's freshly neat black suit. Although Liam wore suits almost half the time, Diamond never got over seeing her fine husband in them.

Liam looks down to his wife, smiling before placing a quick kiss on her lips.

"You'll get lipstick on your lips." Diamond scolds, looking at the slightly stained lips of her husband.

"Who gives a damn?" Liam questions, stealing another kiss from his wife.

Diamond giggles. "Stop it!"

"One more?" Liam asks and places another kiss that lasts a bit longer than the last two.

Stepping back, Diamond shakes her head, laughing as she takes out her emergency tissues to wipe her husband's now coloured lips.

"You're ridiculous."
