Episode 19: The Cheer-up

Narrator:Nikolai had been overwhelmed with the information that he learned from Enikk about him being a savior for humanity. Let's see after a full day of locking himself in his dorm.

Nikolai(mind):It can't be...I'm not special...I'm a normal human...I shouldn't be anything more...am I?

*Nikolai heard a knock on the door, but he remained silent*

Rapi:"Nikolai? Are you in there?"

*Nikolai recognized Rapi's voice, and perked up. He stumbled out of his bed*

Nikolai:"Ow!"

*Rapi opened the door, and entered his room to check on him*

Rapi:"Nikolai?! Are you ok?"

Nikolai:"Y-Yeah, I'm fine."

*Nikolai avoided eye contact with Rapi*

Rapi:"Is something wrong? You're being more self-conscious."

Nikolai:"Wrong? No, nothing's wrong. Nothing at all..."

Rapi:"Then would you mind following me for a moment?"

Nikolai:"Huh? Uh...ok then."

*Rapi walked out of Nikolai's dorm, and he followed her. Rapi continued out of the dorms, and to another section of the Ark. Rapi headed into a rundown building, and knocked on one of the doors*

???:"Yes? Who is it?"

Rapi:"It's Rapi, I've brought Nikolai with me."

???:"Huh?! Seriously?! W-Whoa!"

*A crash could be heard from the other side of the door*

Nikolai(mind):That voice...

Rapi:"I need both of your help here."

???:"Both of us? Alright, fine."

*The door opens, and Anis and Neon exit the room*

Anis:"If you were bringing Nikolai over, you could've told me earlier so I could clean up!"

Neon:"You don't mind the mess, right? Should I shoot it away?"

Anis:"Please don't! The whole dorm will smell like gunpowder...again."

Nikolai:"Uh...hey girls."

Anis and Neon:"Hello."

*Anis tried to whisper to Rapi*

Anis:"So? Is something wrong with him? Because I can't tell."

Rapi:"Yes, he hasn't responded to any of our messages since last night, and he's been fidgeting more frequently."

Anis:"So? Could be anxiety for being in this area."

Nikolai(mind):They do know I can hear them, right?

*Neon tugged on Nikolai's shirt, and gestured towards their dorm*

Neon:"Come on in, Nikolai! Welcome to the counters squad dorm!"

Nikolai:"Thanks..."

Nikolai(mind):These girls are too nice to me, I don't deserve them. I'm just lucky to have them.

*Nikolai entered the dorm, and saw dozens of soda cans all over the floor. He spotted an empty spot on the floor, and sat down*

Nikolai:"..."

Anis:"...Ok, maybe something is wrong with him. He would've commented on our messy room otherwise."

Rapi:"Now you're convinced?"
