"WHAT'S this?" I was shocked when Cheska shouted.

Mabilis kong binaybay ang kusina papunta sa kwarto na tinutulugan niya. It's been one month since we arrived at States.

Pagpasok ko sa kwarto ay nakita ko siyang may hawak na papel.

And fvck! It's our marriage certificate! Mabilis ko siyang nilapitan. Oh I'm really fvcked up! Matagal kong tinatago sa kaniya ang lahat ng to. But now! Here she is.

"Y-you're married with Kristin."

Hindi makapaniwalang saad nito. I looked at her face. Her face is full of sadness, and she's hurt. She's hurting because of me. Masakit na makita siyang ganito.

Her tears suddenly ran down her cheeks.

"Look, I can explain." And she exploded. She slapped me.

"Explain? Para sa ano pang i-explain mo sa akin? Apat na buwan na kayong kasal ni Kristin pero pinaniwala mo akong pinsan mo lang siya! You made me your mistress!" Umiiyak na bulyaw niya sa akin.

"Listen Cheska. Yes we are married, but it's not what you think it is. It was just an arranged marriage!"

She continued crying.

"Pero kahit na Ian! Kailanman ay hindi ko pinangarap na maging isang kabit. But look what you did! I am your fvcking mistress!"

Napasabunot ako sa buhok ko.

She will never understand me! Hindi niya ako kailanman maiintindihan. Napaupo siya sa sahig habang umiiyak. We're miserable. My life is now miserable. I love Cheska so much. Na mas pinili kong sundan siya dito sa States just to make sure she's safe.

"L-let's break up. Let's end this shit."

Tumayo ito kaya naalarma ako. "Where are you going?" Sinubukan kong abutin ang kamay niya pero iniwas niya iyon sa akin.

"I'm leaving. Ayoko ng makasama ka, you are so disgusting. May asawa ka na, you don't need me anymore. From now on, forget that you new me. Forget that you met someone like me." Iyon lang ang huling sinabi niya bago siya umalis.

Napaupo ako sa sahig. My life is so damn fvcked up! I lose Cheska. Wala na siya. Hindi na siya babalik sa akin. I'm so fvcking hurt! Ilang taon din ang pinagsamahan namin ni Cheska. We've been together since we we're nineteen. And now we're both twenty-two.

"Stop it, will you?"

Imbes na huminto ay sinundan ko pa rin siya. She's my ultimate crush. Balita ko sa lahat ay napakabait niya. I don't know what happened to me but when I first saw her, I know she's the one.

"God you're freaking me out!" Sigaw nito sa akin.

"Am I?" Mahinang tanong ko. I looked like her stalker, but damn, I really like her. And I want to know her more.

"Yes. So please, stop it. Nakakatakot ka na."

I smiled.

"Ian Peterson, that's my name." Pagpapakilala ko sa kaniya kahit nakatalikod pa ito sa akin. Sikat kaming mga Peterson. It's because of my dad. He is a well-known business man in yhe country.
