POV: Seokjin

PATIENCE. A TERM that was usually easy for Seokjin but not today.

The moment Namjoon had revealed an email was sent out to somebody who knew their potential soul mate, Jin had been clawing at his brain, hoping a reply would come soon.

He desperately wanted good news and quick. Then, maybe he could forget about the past few years that were filled with anguish and heartache. And then, maybe he could finally find happiness.

His ex-girlfriend—who still had it in her head that they were dating—was driving him nuts with messages asking to meet. She was obsessed with him—or with the idea of him. He didn't want to tell her the truth in case she turned jealous so his pathetic explanation as to why they broke up did nothing to Mi-rae. He wanted her out of his life so that he could move on.

The rest of his group was just as anxious to meet their soul mate as him. He wanted nothing more than to meet this girl—who was no doubt beautiful inside and out—and show her that he had been waiting a lifetime to be with her.

It took two days for Freya to reply to the email. The moment the email popped up on Sejin's computer screen, he called them over. All seven rushed to his office, pushing past staff members. To anybody watching, they probably looked like they were running from a tornado.

They all gathered around his computer, accidentally pushing Sejin out of the way. He didn't seem to mind though. He smiled fondly at them, his eyes sparkling. Something told Seokjin that he had already opened the email.

"Woah," Taehyung muttered to himself, staring at the screen, trying to translate it from English to Korean.

"Tae, move your gigantic body out of the way. I can't read it," Jimin complained, pouting.

"Hey! I'm not gigantic!" Tae yelled back, offended.

"Can you guys not argue?" Yoongi mumbled, rubbing his temples.

Jin sighed to himself and the maknae's antics.

"Why don't I read it out?" Namjoon was suggested as the best person who could read English.

They quieted down, allowing Namjoon to recite the email to them.

Dear Sejin,

Thank you so much for this opportunity. I have to admit I was very surprised to receive an email from you. The guest who was supposed to attend the meet and greet didn't tell me she didn't go.
