IT DIDN'T TAKE long for Madeline to fall asleep again while watching the film. Her head rested on Taehyung's comfortable shoulder, dozing off.

She woke up the following day to find the others lying on the floor in various positions. Hobi and Jimin were snuggled up together, peaceful expressions on their faces. Namjoon and Jungkook had their backs to each other but were still close together. Yoongi had claimed the end of the couch and was snoring softly.

As for Taehyung, he had wrapped an arm around her middle and had pulled her into his chest. She could feel his calm heartbeat.

She nestled her face into the crook of his neck, at peace with the world. Taehyung mumbled something incoherent into her head. He repeated the word again, this time in a clearer tone. He said her name. Madeline.

His baritone voice sent chills down her spine. With his voice, he could lull her to sleep easily.

Hesitantly, Madeline raised her hand up and hovered it over his fluffy hair. The urge to stroke his hair was strong. As if he knew what she wanted to do, he shifted his head, causing her hand to touch the top of his head. His breathing evened out and he relaxed.

She started to run her hands through his hair whilst staring at the others. They all looked...happy.

It was at that moment Madeline made a wish to any higher beings that existed. She prayed that her soul mates would always be happy and healthy. No matter what happened to her, all she wanted was for them to live a prosperous life. If anyone deserved that, it was them.

The sound of her stomach rumbling shifted her attention. Sighing, Madeline eased herself out of Taehyung's grip. Knowing he would wake up if he didn't feel her body next to his, she swapped herself for a large pillow. None the wiser about what she had done, Madeline crept out of the room, tip-toeing around her other soul mates.

She gracefully glided up the stairs and headed straight for the kitchen. She thought it would be nice to treat her soul mates but cooking them breakfast. Whilst she wasn't the best cook, it was the thought that counted.

Her father and stepmom were both in the kitchen, enjoying their breakfast. At the sight of her, they both smiled.

"I didn't know you were here Mads." Her dad commented, a slight frown marring his aging face. Despite being nearly forty, he still looked very young. Freya would always comment that it was unfair.

Madeline slid into the chair beside her dad, "The boys lost the key to their apartment so I suggested we stay in the basement. I hope that's okay."

His eyes softened, "Of course it is. As long as you weren't doing something you'd regret, it's okay. I trust you."
