Regina wakes up in Emma's arm. When she checks the time it's 12:45 in the morning. She carefully removes herself from Emma's grip and makes her way downstairs to make some tea. She can't help but smile and think about Emma, and their activities prior to falling asleep in each other's arms. She wonders how did she get so lucky. Feeling this way, used to scare her. She was always taught love was weakness. Cora made sure there was no room for love in Regina's life when she was raising her. It was always about power, wealth and status. But today, today Regina learned that love is strength. She's never felt more powerful, secure and strong. With Emma, she knows she's safe and secure. She doesn't have to worry about a thing.

She walks into the backyard and she goes to sit under her apple tree, taking in the fresh air as she drinks her tea. She leans back against the tree and begins to laugh lightly at the memory of Emma cutting into her apple tree at the Town Hall. When Emma walked into her life, she did fear she was going to lose Henry, which resulted in their feud, however, she can't deny having been attracted to the blonde since then. Emma, challenged her when no one else could. It was a fun game between the two of them to fight back and forth. It was even better when they were fighting together so save Storybook.

She reminisces about all the times Emma saved her and put her first. She saved her from the fire, which was technically a set up, but Emma wasn't aware of that. She trusted Regina and stood up for her even after the curse was broken and everyone feared her. She tried to include Regina in everything she could. She made sure Henry realized his mother loved him, even though he had doubted her ability to love because she was the Evil Queen.

Regina was deeply focused on reminiscing her memories with Emma, that she didn't realize the blonde was walking up to her. Emma took it upon herself to sneak up on her and wrap her arms around the brunette.

At first Regina was startled, but quickly sensed Emma's magic and melted into her embrace.

"Ms. Swan, are you trying to give me a heart attack."

"Well, no. But I guess we can consider this payback for scaring the crap out of Henry, Roland and I" she says giggling.

Regina turns around to face her, and lightly slaps her shoulder and kisses her cheek. "I guess I did deserve that."

"The bed was cold without you. I thought you'd be back quickly, but after 2 hours passed, I decided to come find you."

"I hadn't even realized 2 hours passed by already."

"That doesn't surprise me. You were in a different world when I came out here. Where did you escape to?"

"I was just thinking about you and us."

"What about us?" she says kissing Regina's neck.

"How amazing you are, and how in love with you I am. You have me, Emma. All of me. I don't ever want to have to think about a life that doesn't have you by my side."

"You won't ever have to, Gina. I would move heaven and earth for you. Let's go back to bed, your skin is cold."

Emma wraps Regina's arms around her neck and swiftly picks her up, supporting her back with her left arm and using her right to hold up her legs from behind her knees.

"All of that working out seems to have paid off Swan."

"Oh please, you're lighter than a feather, Gorgeous."

Emma gently sets her down on the bed and sets herself comfortably with her head on Regina's chest and her arms wrapped securely around her stomach. Regina wraps her left arm over Emma's shoulder and runs her right hand through the top of Emma's hair. Shortly after they fall back asleep again.
