Jack carefully cranks up the springlocks away from his body and puts them away in the saferoom. His body is warm, which he finds somewhat uncomfortable, yet somewhat nice. He feels a buzz in his pocket. A text?

He rolls his eyes light-heartedly.

Aubergine -
I NEED CUDDLES, AND I NEED THEM NOW

He smiles and turns off his phone.
He meets him outside, right as the clock strikes 6. When Dave sees Jack, the eggplant lights up. He smiles and makes a sound similar to a squeaky toy when he hugs Jack. "No drugs?" Dave asks, half-joking. Jack laughs and declines his request. Dave clings to him as Jack walks back home.

Dave and Jack lay in bed, cuddling. Dave nuzzles into the crook of the tangerine's neck, dozing off. Jack gives him a light kiss on the head before letting sleep overtake him.
