She was yet again dressed in her blue suit, and this time Rayaan didn't back away from admiring it.

From the moment she emerged from their room in a blue Anarkali suit, a pastel organza dupatta gracefully flowing over her left shoulder, to the car, and now at the restaurant, Rayaan couldn't help but steal glances at her. He was in awe of his wife. Her small, radiant smile was the cherry on top, making it increasingly difficult for him to shift his gaze. The constant giddy feeling inside him was not helping either.

Meera was not feeling any different. His admirable gaze was heating up her body especially the area around her cheeks. She took it as her chance to stare at him the moment he started analyzing the menu. He, too, was dressed in the same formal suit as that day, he was indeed looking handsome.

There was nothing like a sharp jawline or long eyelashes but still, he looked so handsome. His brown eyes locked onto hers intensely making her gasp in surprise at being caught, she quickly shifted her gaze to the menu.

The tip of his ears turned pink, his uncontrolled grin struggled to be set free. She was checking him out. Though not specifically in words, he felt complimented.

He so wanted to tease her but he suppressed the urge looking at his already blushing bride.

Clearing his throat, he asked, "What would you like to eat?"

For a fact, he knew his wife was a fan of junk food. So for a day he just gave in and had junk. Just for a day.

He will burn these extra calories later and will make sure she helps him.

Their junk lunch was followed by an ice cream treat by Rayaan. He was feeling happy as the girl beside him seemed to soak into a world of happiness. He liked the newfound glow on her face, he liked the innocent chirpiness on her face. It reminded him of the girl he had met for the first time, the one he had teasingly called a child, and who had responded with a scrunched nose and angry glares.

He chuckled, remembering that face. Meera snapped her head towards her husband in response. Rayaan tried to suppress his laughter as they strolled hand in hand in the park.

They continued their walk in the park until they reached a charming fountain adorned with sculpted swans gracefully arching their necks. Meera's curious eyes were drawn to the flowing water, and she couldn't help but admire its beauty
He turned to Meera, his gaze was warm and admiring. "Meera," He called in a soft voice filled with affection, "You know, you look absolutely gorgeous today."

Meera was flushed with his unexpected compliment. Her eyes cast down unable to meet his intense gaze but he pulled her closer and her brown eyes met his with the sudden jerk.

Rayaan couldn't resist the urge any longer. He leaned in closer, his eyes locked on hers, and gently placed a kiss on the back of her hand.

Butterflies fluttered in her stomach at the touch of his lips. Her heart skipped a beat as she looked into his eyes, where admiration and affection sparkled like stars in the night sky. It was a moment frozen in time, where words felt unnecessary.

As they stood by the fountain, the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in this magical moment.

Their day was pure bliss, a memory they both would cherish for a lifetime.

Rayyan even insisted to go for shopping. He didn't want to miss any chance with her. He knew she already had so many clothes, most of them gifts, but he cared less. He wanted to make the most of every moment with her. He wanted to utilize every opportunity he got with her.

The hold of her hand in his gave him comfort. The warmth felt too good to let go. He continued clutching her hand even as they drove back home with a silent promise to stay like that forever.

As they prepared for sleep, Rayaan's head had just hit the pillow when he felt her warm breath near his face. His eyes opened in surprise as he sensed her soft lips against his cheek. And if that wasn't enough to make his heart stop beating, he also heard her mumble, "You are handsome too." All of this happened in the blink of an eye, and he turned to look at her, who was facing the other side, making him almost believe he had dreamt it all.

But it wasn't as the small hair on his neck rose being electrocuted. Without any second thoughts, he pulled her towards him and she hid her face in his chest refusing to look at him. He captured her wrapping his arm around her waist and with the other, he was cressing her locks gently.

This was how he expected to have his nights with his wife, Cuddled up into each other. He felt too grateful to have his desired moment.

With a wide smile on his face and a shy one on his wife's face, both of them fall into a sweet slumber.

Just like that both of them had grown closer in just two days.
Rayaan was over the moon with happiness. If only he knew that him taking the first step would land them here he would have done it earlier.

Meanwhile, Meera was slowly forgetting her initial reservations. She had started falling into the new bubble. She was drawn to the new light which she resisted earlier.

Had she truly forgotten everything, or was it merely a facade that, if broken, might throw her further down the emotional rabbit hole?

The night witnessed the growing attraction between the young couple. The stars, like silent observers, knew they had to pass the waves of the ocean, never letting go of each other's hands if they wanted to reach the shore together.

The attraction was still in its infancy, yet it had to pass the tests to be worthy of being called love.

But Meera didn't want love. Did she?
