When the campus heartthrob Jeon Jungkook who's actually a secret, self-professed romantic at heart, and the innocent country girl Kim Y/N, who's actually not as timid and docile as she seems, end up sharing a dorm for the semester, both discover tha...

WE WERE GREETED by the delicious scent of grilled beef and kimchi jjigae as soon as we entered the small but extremely busy Korean barbecue restaurant that Taehyung sunbae had found just outside the campus. He had called Jungkook this morning, while we were still at the Jeju airport, and told him about wanting to have a get-together dinner since everyone was finally going to be back after the fall break.
I strongly suspected that there was more to this request than he was letting on but I'd chosen to stay quiet about it so far because a cautious little voice inside my head had told me that Jungkook wouldn't exactly be too keen on hearing my thoughts on the matter.
After all, it was his sister that was involved. And his best friend. I wasn't ignorant enough to actually believe that this meeting had nothing to do with Jung Min.
Beside me, Jungkook appeared uncharacteristically irritated as we made our way through the bustling space towards the table occupied by our friends. Jimin and Makenzie were there, sitting together as always, along with Namjoon sunbae, Hoseok sunbae as well as Taehyung sunbae, who was seated beside Jung Min but stood up as soon as he saw us.
"Y/N eonni!" Jung Min's face lit up as she rushed to hug me but Taehyung simply smiled politely in my direction before focusing his gaze on Jungkook once again.
"Good to see you, Jungkook-ah." He said, nodding amicably at him as Jungkook clenched his jaw but nodded back at him anyway.
"You too," Jungkook muttered begrudgingly before pulling back a chair for himself as I too, settled into mine, right next to Makenzie, who wasted no time in pulling me into a quick hug.
"You look beautiful," she whispered into my ear as I smiled and hugged her back.
"Thank you, you look stunning yourself." I mouthed softly before turning to smile at everyone else. Jung Min, though appearing a bit rattled by the stiff exchange between Taehyung and Jungkook, looked positively delighted to see me, while Hoseok and Namjoon sunbae simply smiled back at me in return.
"So, how did you guys' little honeymoon go?" My eyes snapped up as despite the tense atmosphere, Jimin quirked up a brow at Jungkook and I, flashing me a mischievous grin.
My cheeks flushed. Birds of a feather truly did flock together. Neither he nor his best friend ever let go of an opportunity to embarrass me by asking inappropriate questions.
"Shut up, Jimin. Now's not the time!" Makenzie hissed at her boyfriend who seemed unfazed, his cheeky grin only growing wider as his eyes travelled between me and Jungkook.
"Don't listen to her. There's no time more perfect than now." Jimin said, playfully pushing her back with his arm as I gulped and let out an awkward laugh.
God, I was fucked.
"The fall break was good," I emphasised, lightly clearing my throat to compose myself. "But it wasn't a honeymoon becausethe last time I checked only married people went on honeymoons."
