Umbridge is nowhere to be seen.

Everyone left to go save Sirius a while ago but when they all returned. It wasn't good news.

Sirius black is dead.

I felt helpless. I would have went with them, maybe then they would have had a chance. But...I didn't.

Am I a bad person for that?

I couldn't imagine how Elizabeth might be feeling right now. That thought alone crushed me.

I was in my room, packing the rest of my things away as year 5 comes to an end.

I didn't think I would make it this far. How so much change can happen in just a year is unbelievable but at this point predictable.

I finished packing and made my way into the common room. Everyone was leaving out. Malfoy stood looking down into the fireplace with his hands in his pockets. He seemed lost, upset, angry. Part of me wanted to go over and talk to him but I wouldn't know what to say.

I walk down the last few steps and watch his posses walk over to him. He begins walking out, glancing at me briefly.

The other two walk out but he stays behind for a moment.

"Another year done," I sigh, making conversation.

"Yeah," he says, looking down at the floor.

I open my mouth to speak but he bet me to it.

"See you after the summer," he says, turning to go without another word.

"Yeah, see you," I say, watching him leave.

I'm not even sure I want to come back.

I take one last glance at the common room before heading out towards the carriages.

Amelia stands in her dorm room, packing her suitcase and sitting it beside her bed. She takes a moment and looks out the window. A stray tear falls down and off her cheek.

She stands and walks to her bed. Something drops on the floor under the bed. She crouched down and goes to retrieve it. She stands and looks down at the object in her hand.

It was the bracelet her aunt gifted them on their first day of Hogwarts. She sits on her bed, playing with the beads, feeling more tears resurface.

She never wished for things to be like this. She wanted nothing more then to talk with her sister again, make things right but she just couldn't.

She was afraid.

A few moments pass and the door is knocked softly.

"Just a minute," Amelia says, rushing to hide the bracelet and goes back to pretending she's packing even though everything was already packed.

"We're going soon if you want to join," Hermione says but notices the look held in Amelias eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing. I'm fine," she dismissed, grabbing her luggage and walking towards her.

"Are you sure it's nothing? You look like you've been crying," Hermione comments.

"Geez, is no one aloud privacy anymore? Must i need to tell you everything?" She asks, slightly glaring but realising her tone and softening her gaze.

"I'm sorry. It's been a really odd year for all of us. I just want to forget about things for now and make it home in one piece," she says, exhaling loudly and looking at Mione.

"I understand," she nods, offering a small smile.

"Shall we?"

Amelia nods her head and follows her out her dorm into the common room to meet up with the others.

"Is that everyone?" Harry asks.

"I believe it is," Mione replies.

"Okay, let's go," he says, leaving with the rest following.

When the four make it to the carriages, they notice {Y/n} not far ahead, hopping onto one with her blonde haired friend Stephanie and two random Slytherins. She didn't even bat an eye towards them.

The four ignore it and carry on to their carriage.

All they can hope for next year is things are different. But at this point they all knew that wasn't the case.
