Paris has spent the better part of the past few days adding what he calls "the finishing touches" to his costume.
The best part is, none of us know what the others will be til we get dressed and reveal our outfits. Well, other than Silas, seeing as he picked up Birch's costume. He said he's going to be adorable! Now, I can't wait til Birch finally goes trick or treating for the first time!
Pretty soon we settle into watching Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus, Birch said he really wants a kitten like Binx!
Myka ran into the room with his phone raised for a picture and a big witchy black cat squishmallow. Birch looked at it in excitement, I could tell he was bursting with excitement over the toy.
"Here, I got this for you while shopping the other day. I hope you like it." Myka said as he handed Birch the toy with a bright smile on his face.

Birch squelched in excitement and happily excepted the toy and gave Myka a big hug and said, "Thank you! I absolutely love it! I'm gonna name her Luna like the moon!"
Myka took a few photos of Birch with the toy, it was so sweet how much it made him happy.
We laughed and talked for a bit until it was time for me to take Birch upstairs to get ready for Halloween, I just knew tonight was going to be great!
