The turtle whipped his head around and raised a 'brow' at her. "My bad! Sorry, that was rude, that just kind of came out." Maddie said nervously and franticly. The turtle looked at her and sighed. "it's whatever least you aren't screamin. You stay right there while go help April and Casey, got it." He pointed to the spot she was sitting in before he ran off. He fought the ninjas very well, Maddie guessed he was trained in some kind of fighting. The fight was going smoothly for the three, Maddie watched the turtle very closely trying to figure out his style of fighting, it almost looked like a mix of boxing and something else. Just as the last few ninjas where about to be taken down Maddie heard a loud groan along with a 'mother fucker' she turned to see the turtle had a knife through his palm. The turtle had stopped attacking giving the last few ninjas time to run off. Maddie stood up and walked the best she could to the turtle. He was about to pull the knife out, "DONT PULL IT OUT! God its straight through your hand and I don't have anything to stop the bleeding!" she raised her voice as she walked over faster. "Here let me see." hesitantly the turtle handed his palm over to her. "Now fair warning I'm not a doctor but it might need stitches." she inspected it once more. "I can do It if you want but I need the stuff at my apartment." the turtle looked unsure. "Uhm, I don't know..." he looked over to Casey. "don't worry man she's chill, and pretty good at bandaging." Maddie noted that they knew each other but didn't pry on the subject. He thought for a good minute before letting out a sigh. "Fine, where's your house?" Maddie gave a smile "come on we can take my car back it's a long walk."
They made their way out to the car, "Casey sorry to say it but you're going to have to ride in the back, this guys a bit to big to fit comfortably back there." "Aw man." Maddie pulled the seat forward and let Casey and April in the back. She then pulled the seat back again and set it back a bit more than usual. "Alright big guy get in." she made her way over to her own seat and got in. She buckled her harness and looked over to the turtle. He looked pretty nervous. She knew it was most likely her that was making him nervous. She tried her best to ease his nervousness. "Alright off to my apartment, I'll get some food for us when we get there." "HELL YEA!" Casey pumped his fists in the air.
After a twenty-five-minute drive she pulled her car into its parking spot. "Alright we are here" she turned the car off and started to undo her harness. "I can't just walk in ya know? I'll get spotted." Maddie looked over to the turtle. "Well usually no ones in the front lobby but I have some hoodies in the trunk that could cover most of you if that would make you feel better?" He looked down in thought for a second, then he nodded his head. "Alright Hun I'll grab one for you." she popped her trunk and grabbed the biggest hoodie she had. It was a black hoodie with a big bloody rose on the back. She grabbed it and went over to the passenger side. "Here this is the biggest one I have." He put it on as he got out of the car, it fit him quite nicely. It was big enough to fit properly with his shell and not be way too oversized. "Thank you..." He was still a bit sketchy about going into her apartment but he knew Casey trusted her and he trusted him so he would just have to go along with it.
Once the elevator hit the seventh floor they got off. She walked to her apartment door and unlocked it. "Wait here just a second, I need to grab the dog, so we don't have round two between him and Casey." "You tell Anax I'm ready for a second round." she gave a small laugh as she walked in and grabbed the dog by the collar. Raph looked over to Casey in confusion "what?" "Oh, yea this is Maddie, she's the one I had a run into with the dog that bit my leg." he laughed a bit. The turtle thought for a second before it looked like something just clicked in his head.
