Third person POV

Gon's heart pounded with a mixture of anticipation and uncertainty as he entered a dimly lit chamber, the air thick with a mystifying aura. In the center of the room, a solitary figure stood, shrouded in shadows. It was Rin, or at least what remained of her. The sight that met Gon's eyes was both haunting and surreal.

"...?!"

Son Ringo, once a lively and vibrant hunter, was now a mere puppet of her former self. Her once expressive obsidian eyes were vacant, lifeless orbs that seemed to reflect none of the warmth and fire they once held. Her features were etched with lines of weariness and pain, like the scars of a battle long lost. Her limbs moved mechanically as if controlled by invisible strings, and her entire body bore the marks of her transformation.

Rin's red shirt hung loosely on her frame, tattered and torn, and her hair, once shining a midnight black, now seemed dull and lifeless

Rin's red shirt hung loosely on her frame, tattered and torn, and her hair, once shining a midnight black, now seemed dull and lifeless. The puppet-like quality of her movements was unnerving, a stark contrast to the vivacious girl Gon had known.

"Rin..."

Gon's breath caught in his throat, his heart pounding with disbelief

Gon's breath caught in his throat, his heart pounding with disbelief. He refused to accept what lay before his eyes. The chamber seemed to close in on him, the air heavy with the weight of a truth he wasn't ready to acknowledge. The flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows on Gon's face, accentuating the conflict that raged within him.

"They mostly used her to train soldiers. She automatically attacks anyone who approaches." Knuckle explained, and the boys could only stand in silence.

"Rin..." Gon whispered, his voice barely audible in the oppressive silence.

"It's ok now... It's ok."

With a solemn determination etched across his features, Gon took a step forward, closing the gap between himself and the puppet Rin. Her puppet-like joints flinched faintly as it shifted, her arm raised as if frozen mid-punch. Gon, however, remained undeterred by the lifeless facade before him.

PUNCH!

A sharp crack resonated through the chamber as Rin's fist collided with Gon's cheek. Time seemed to slow as pain flared across Gon's face, his head snapping to the side under the force of the blow. The taste of copper filled his mouth. Blood trickled down Gon's forehead, a stark reminder of the harsh truth he could no longer ignore.
