CHAPTER 29 -Zoldyck Family-

Rin POV

I've been waiting for this morning for a long time. The guys had been training for twenty days and now it's finally here.

What happened ten days ago was a miracle and I thanked whoever blew the whistle that sent Mike away. It truly saved Gon and my life.

Even so, you can't imagine my raging fury when I discovered that everything was caused by that stupid Loudmouth. Gon had a hard time trying to prevent me from killing him.

Well, it's all in the past. Right now, Loudmouth and Kurapika were stretching their muscles, warming up before opening the Testing Gate.

"Hey, why don't you try removing those vests today?" Zebro suggested.

"Oh? Music to my ears!" Loudmouth sang and dropped the vest to the ground causing the ground to cave in. Kurapika followed his action and the two of them walked towards the gate.

"Yeah! Without them, we can definitely open the gate now." Loudmouth exclaimed.

Watching the two of them reached the gate, I turned my head to face Gon.

"Hey Gon, do you really think they can open it?" I asked him.

He stayed silent but his brown eyes shined in faith and what's more his eyes were screaming his excitement.

I smiled.

'Thought so. He must be itching to open it too.'

"Let's do this Kurapika!"

"Yeah!"

Loudmouth and Kurapika placed their palms on the gate, ready to budge it open on the count of three.

"One... Two... Three!"

The two of them used all of their strength to push the gate open. They had their teeth clenched, grunting to open the gate. Slowly, the gate started to budge a little.

"Damn it, it won't move any further." Loudmouth complained.

Before I even realized it, Gon had already removed his vest. What's more, he discarded the bandage on his arm.

"Gon?" I watched him walking towards the gate.

A ghost of a smile crept across my face.

'This time, it will open for sure!'

"One last spurt, Leorio..."

"Got it!"

Kurapika and Loudmouth gritted their teeth the moment they pushed the gate even further. When suddenly there's a new pair of hand placed on the gate.

"...!"

"Gon..."

"Why are you using your left arm?" Loudmouth asked.

"It's okay. My arm's healed now." Gon reassured.

"Healed?"

"Are you sure, Gon?"

"Yep!"

The three of them continue to budge the gate open with all their might.

I sighed in defeat. Guess it's about time to tell them, huh? With that, I cupped my hand around my mouth.

"Guys! A word of advice. Match your timing. You have to push both doors, with all your strength, simultaneously!" I shouted.

"Got it! we just have to push together, right?" Gon said.

"Right, let's push."

"Here we go!"

"One!"
