Please take note that this happens after the Phantom Rouge incident. To those who haven't read it yet, you can check the book out in my account. If you don't, then you'll be missing a lot of point because from this point on it'll be the continuation of the book. Thank you!

Third-person POV
Once the three of them stepped foot in a secluded room deep underground of Battera's mansion, they were greeted with countless monitors. In front of them laid a Joy Station that acts as the conduit to gain access to the infamous game, Greed Island.
Since only one player was allowed to enter the game at a time, the participants had agreed to play a simple game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. As luck would have it, Gon was the first to enter the game by using his game card and ring.
Once he arrived, Gon's eyes laid upon a vast land of green. The grasses were tufting and waving as the ocean would on some sunny windswept day. He watched the green hues as it deepened and lightened in the sun-rays.
The excitement wired his body was like being plugged into the mains. He felt like his brain was on fast-forward and there was no off switch. He can't wait to enjoy the game his father had created. However, Gon was soon brought back to reality as he remembered that he still had to wait for his other two friends.
And so he waited patiently, taking a seat down the stairs as he watched the players descend one by one. After a few participants had entered the game, Gon was finally greeted with a familiar voice.
"We're being watched."
Whipping his head to the direction, he found Killua at the foot of the stairs with his eyes gazing at the far distance.
"Killua!"
At the sound of his name being called, Killua turned his head with a smile. "Sorry to make you wait. Rin will come after me shortly."
True to his words, only a few minutes passed and they could already hear the mumbling voice of their female friend.
"Can you believe I got a turn just after this guy? What a stroke of luck!" She pointed her thumb at Killua in which he responded by rolling his eyes.
"Rin!" Gon beamed in excitement.
"Not my fault you're bad at rock-paper-scissors." Killua retorted.
"Hah! Say that when you get the first turn like Gon, geezer!" A clash of sparks was visible in between their gazes. However, it soon vanished with the sound of Gon's voice.
"It's good to have you guys here." He smiled in his usual innocent smile melting away both of their hearts.
"A-Anyway, I don't see any nearby towns." Rin gazed at the distance covering her eyes from the bright sunlight.
"Yeah, but everyone headed in the same direction." Gon said.
"Let me guess... they went this way or that way?" Killua said while pointing to the two directions.
"Huh? How did you know?" Gon was genuinely surprised by Killua's accurate guess.
"Because that's where we're being watched from. But we still don't know why they're watching us." Killua explained.
"True." Gon nodded in agreement
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's hit the road!" Rin cheered as she pounded her fist in the air.
Once they started walking through the grassy field, Killua spoke up.
"So, how did it go?"
"Hmm?" Gon turned to face Killua.
