Third-person POV

"N-not... enough...?"

Rin's mouth was opening and shutting like a goldfish with no sound coming out, still as a statue and ridged as a board, Rin's face was stuck in an incredulous expression.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT ENOUGH?! We have a damn 30 BILLION with us! What do you mean that's not enough?!"

Leaped in the air as if a firecracker had gone off, Rin's face was already red as a tomato. The boys could only scratch their heads low fearing that if one wrong word escaped their lips and the girl will explode.

Frankly, the three of them got separated at the auction place with Rin heading to a different hall for the Dragon Ball while the other two went for the Greed Island. It was her luck that not many of the auctioneers were interested in the Dragon Ball as they thought it was nothing but a myth. So she had it easy. Gon and Killua on the other hand...

"That guy won the bid with 30.5 billion Jenny. We're short off zero point five billion--"

Before Killua could finish his sentence, Rin finally exploded.

"Zero point five billion...? Zero POINT five?! What is this a goddamn joke?! Do you realize what shit I had to go through just for that DAMN money?! My freakin brain was literally on fire!!!"

Thinking that she mentally exploded was clearly an understatement because right now, she was already trashing the room.

"ARGHHHH!!! BLOODY HELL!!!"

Rin did a roundhouse on a chair and lucky for Killua, he was able to dodge it by a hair. His mind was already preoccupied with the cost of damages they had to pay because of a certain mad bull, but nearly giving him a blue eye was definitely the endpoint.

"Oi, oi, calm that crazy head of yours for a second. There is another way."

Rin froze halfway from breaking yet another porcelain vase when she snapped her head towards him.

"Huh?!"

"That's right. They're screening players for the game on the auction's final day. If we can pass that, then, we'll be able to play the Greed Island." Gon added.

"Is that so...?" Rin wondered for a moment before beaming into a cheerful smile. "You should've said so sooner!"

"You're the one with a brain on fire." Killua rolled his eyed sticking a lollipop in his mouth, dismissing the fact that someone was glaring daggers at him.

"So, what does it take to pass the screening?"

"Nen."

"Nen?"

"That guy told us to use Ren but it was still not enough. I think we should take it to the next level." Killua leaned his body against the window rail.

"Next level?"

With a smirk, Killua crossed his legs "...Hatsu."

Gon's eyes widened knowingly while Rin was still puzzled at the word.

"Hatsu? What's that?"

"You know... Special abilities. We need special abilities without too much or too little risk which still fits our specialties. Something practical and effective. That's what we have to come up with." Killua explained while the two of them were staring blankly at him.

"Does Super Saiyan counts?" Rin raised her hand.

"Naturally, that's one practical example." Killua agreed.
