CHAPTER 44 -Heavens Arena-

Gon POV

Several weeks had passed and Rin was able to return to Heavens Arena. I guess it should be something to be happy about. After all, Rin had finally gotten better. If only that was the case...

She was acting rather differently than the way she used to be.

Rin became silent. She talks less, eats less, sleeps less, and what's more...her body kept trembling at the sight of anything that reminded her of the horrible incident.

That was what Killua had been worried about all this time ever since I brought her to the hospital. Even though he didn't say much, he can't hide anything from me.

Wing-san and Zushi took the time to visit her in the hospital. Even her new-found female friend called Laura visited her right after she heard what happened from me and Killua. She even said she was going to kill that Casper guy. What a surprise coming from an innocent looking girl.

Even with all the people visiting and looking after Rin. Not once did I see her smile after she went on a rampage. It's like she had forgotten how to smile...and that worries me, a lot!

That's why Killua and I had been doing a lot of things to make her smile. For instance:

We took her to a famous restaurant with extravagant menus. Hoping she would be happy with all the food they had. But she only looked at the food in horror and ran away from the place as if she just saw a ghost. I guess that plan had failed miserably.

There was also a time where we brought her to watch a fight in Heavens Arena, knowing that she loves to watch a match. Even with that, she looked at the fight with a blank face, not interested in the fight whatsoever.

'What else should we do?'

Dr. Geno said it is good for her to exercise in order to make her forget about the stressing event. And so, Killua suggested we had a practice match. But that didn't go as planned.

We did everything we could to make her smile again but none of our plans succeed.

'I wish I could do something to make her feel better. The more she's acting like this, the more guilty I felt towards myself.'

Third person POV

Gon, Killua, and Rin were making their way towards their own rooms in Heavens Arena. While the three of them were walking in silence, Gon noticed that Rin had stopped walking for a while now as if she was hesitant about something.

Halting his footsteps, Gon turned his head followed by Killua who must've noticed the same thing.

"What's wrong, Rin?"

"Is there something troubling you?"

Rin stayed silent causing the boys to look at each other in confusion but they still waited patiently for her answer.

"Actually...I..."

The three of them were laying on top of the king-sized bed in Gon's room.

Gon and Killua had never thought that Rin actually wanted to sleep with them. Although they were shocked by her sudden request, Gon immediately approved of her request with a smile.

"Sure, why not? It's been so long since the three of us slept together, right?" Gon turned his head to face Killua with a smile.
