(Hana's POV)

While Hyejin and Taehyung navigated the delicate balance of their budding relationship, life for the rest of us continued at its usual bustling pace.

Amidst the whirlwind of promotions, events, and concerts, there were moments of respite—times when I got to witness the tender exchanges between my best friend and the charismatic Taehyung.

Today was one of those rare days when Hyejin and I had some time off. We decided to spend it at the mall, a place where we could blend in with the crowd and indulge in a bit of retail therapy.

"Hyejin, you seriously need to try this shade. I've been eyeing it for weeks," I said, dragging her towards a makeup store.

She chuckled, "You know I trust your judgment."

"As you should," I playfully responded. "Now, close your eyes and let me work my magic."

As I applied the eyeshadow with exaggerated concentration, I couldn't resist teasing her, "So, when are you going to make things official with Taehyung, huh?"

Hyejin rolled her eyes, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "Hana, we've been through this. It's complicated."

"Complicated, my foot! You two are adorable together. Why not just embrace it?"

She just shrugged, her gaze distant for a moment before she blinked back to the present.

"Speaking of the devil," I whispered, a mischievous glint in my eyes. I turned Hyejin towards the entrance of the store, where Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook were strolling, seemingly unaware of our presence.

Hyejin's eyes widened, and she subtly adjusted her hair, trying to appear casual.

But I couldn't resist. I sauntered over to the trio, a sly grin on my face. "Well, well, if it isn't the heartthrob trio. What brings you guys to the mall today?"

Taehyung chuckled, "Just the usual—window shopping and avoiding buying anything."

Hyejin, now standing beside Taehyung, shot me a look that said, 'Enough with the teasing, Hana.' I decided to ease up a bit.

"So, Taehyung, how's it going with our superstar here?" I asked, winking at Hyejin.

Taehyung grinned, "Oh, you know, the usual. Trying not to mess things up."

Jungkook, looking at them with a thoughtful expression, chimed in, "You guys are like those characters in a romantic drama."

Hyejin blushed, and Taehyung just laughed.

As we continued to chat and stroll through the mall, I couldn't help but admire the genuine connection between Hyejin and Taehyung. The way he looked at her, the subtle gestures of affection—it was heartwarming.

In a quiet moment between Jimin and me, words unknowingly escaped my lips, "You know, Jimin, I wish all guys were as considerate as Taehyung. It's rare to see someone treat someone else with so much care."

He smiled, "Yeah, he's something special."

I nodded, "I hope I can find someone like that too."

(Hyejin's POV)

The next day, the sun painted the sky with hues of warmth as I exited the imposing glass doors of my entertainment company. I adjusted my sunglasses, shielding my eyes from the bright day, only to be greeted by the sight of Taehyung leaning against a sleek black car, a casual smile playing on his lips.

"Hey there," he greeted, his voice as smooth as ever.

I felt a rush of warmth, both from the sun and the sight of him waiting for me. "Taehyung-ssi," I replied, matching his smile. "What brings you here?"

He straightened up, holding out a coffee cup towards me. "Thought you might need a pick-me-up after your meeting."

I chuckled, accepting the coffee. "You really know how to make a girl's day."

He winked playfully. "Just doing my part. Ready for a little break from work?"

As we drove through the city, Taehyung filled the air with light conversation, effortlessly steering away from work-related topics. It was refreshing, and I appreciated the way he focused on making the moment enjoyable rather than probing into the intricacies of my schedule.

"So," he began, a mischievous glint in his eye, "have you considered my proposal for dinner tonight?"

I raised an eyebrow, teasingly skeptical. "Proposal? I don't remember any formal proposals, Mr. Kim."

He chuckled, "Consider this the informal kind. How about we try that new place you've been curious about? My treat."

I couldn't help but smile at his easygoing nature. "You're persistent, Kim Taehyung. I'll give you that. But okay, dinner it is."

--

The restaurant he chose had a cozy ambiance, perfect for a quiet evening. Over dinner, our conversation flowed effortlessly.

Taehyung shared anecdotes from his day, and I found myself opening up about mine, realizing that our connection was deepening with each passing moment.

As we finished our meal, he looked at me with a playful glint in his eyes and pulled out a small sketchbook from his bag.

"Remember when you mentioned you liked doodling during meetings?" he said, flipping through the pages to reveal an adorable stick figure drawing of us. "I thought I'd give it a try."

I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the charmingly simple sketch. "You've got some artistic skills there, Taehyung."

He grinned, a touch of embarrassment in his expression. "Well, I had a great subject to work with."

Our laughter echoed in the restaurant, and as we left, the city lights flickered to life around us. Taehyung walked me to the car, a comfortable silence settling between us.

"Thanks for today, Taehyung," I said, genuinely appreciative.

He smiled, a softness in his gaze. "Anytime, Hyejin. I enjoy spending time with you."

As he drove me back, I couldn't help but feel a warmth growing in my heart. Taehyung was patient, considerate, and, above all, genuine. The slow pace of our budding relationship felt right, and I found myself looking forward to the next chapter of our story—one filled with laughter, shared moments, and, perhaps, a few more informal proposals along the way.
