Kai watched in amusement as Tobi could barely fend off his own Six Paths. "You know if I was actually a little serious here you'd be in trouble. So tell me Tobi where have you stashed Sasuke? I doubt he'll be there long with what's going on." Tobi knew Kai was toying with him he already knew where Sasuke was. "Have fun with your war Tobi." Kai and his Six Paths vanish only to appear in front of the Uchiha who was healing from having Itachi's eyes transplanted. "What are you doing here Kai?" Kai saw Sasuke look in his direction. "I just wanted to tell you that my job is almost done and this will probably be the last time we can talk like this. So ask me whatever you want." Sasuke wasn't sure what Kai meant but he did have questions. "Who's Kaizer?" Kai chuckled. "Kaizer is an Otsutsuki that I am the reincarnation of. He was the brother to the Sage of Six Paths and power like nothing seen before. The man was lonely though for most of his life because of it. His mother and siblings never understood him. The common people revered and feared him as the beast he was. The only time he never felt alone was when Kaizer was with his summons. That's why he made his own Ten Tails as well as the Kitsune who follows me Ignis." Sasuke listened while Kai spoke. "Why did you fake your death?" Kai snorted. "You know why." Sasuke did he just wanted to hear Kai say it. "Because I wanted to be with my father but also to save the family Kaizer chose." Sasuke was confused until he felt the presence of Nine immense chakras. "You really do have all Nine within you." Kai had brought out the Nine Tailed Beasts as well as his own. "Yes I do Sasuke the ones trapped within the statue as well as the last two jinchuriki are copies I made." Sasuke suddenly felt a gentle poke to his forehead like Itachi use to do and he felt the pain in his eyes fade away. "I want to see your new eyes before I leave." Kai took the bandages away and Sasuke saw ten Beasts looking at him before Sasuke looked at his uncle. He saw the warmth Kai use to look at him with back when they were little. "Even though you see in darkness now I will forever be there by your side walking with you. Even if we are enemies I will always love you Sasuke as my brother." Kai hugged his brother who froze and he noticed the Beasts all returned to Kai who vanished. Sasuke tensed up thinking of Kai and Itachi. The two always protected him even when he didn't realize it. As Sasuke started to head towards his objective Zestu showed up but he used Susano'o to cut them down. With Kai he found his father was a reanimated ninja and when Kai tracked him down Itachi was with Nagato facing off with the two jinchuriki. "I didn't think you'd also come to fight Kai." The other three heard Nagato and they looked to see Kai staring at them. "Kai what are you doing here?" Kai looked at his dad before looking at the others. "I want you to know the Akatsuki aren't the only ones your fighting Naruto." Naruto gasped when Kai grinned and he was using Nagato's justu. "So it's true you are also in this war Kai." Bee spoke up making Kai laugh. "I've always been a part of this war since day one. My life was never mine own. That's why Ignis had you take me and raise me." Itachi looked at Kai who sighed. "It doesn't matter nothing matters anymore. I've touched the deepest parts of my soul and I've awakened what was resting inside me. I can't be stopped anymore." Kai was suddenly underneath a wolf with Ten Tails and the others all braced from the shockwave the wolf's appearance caused. "Your a Jinchuriki as well!?" Naruto was surprised making Kai look at him. "I'm sorry Naruto but I can't come home anymore. My crimes are too severe at this point." Naruto saw how alone Kai was and he went to walk to him but the wolf slammed a tail in the space between the two. "None will touch my creator!" The wolf roared and the four braced again. "Kai do you truly want this?" Itachi's question caused his son to look at him. "No but what I want isn't possible anymore dad." Itachi saw the necklace Kai had on was open and it showed the picture of the two of them with Sasuke. "I won't destroy the world like the Akatsuki instead this world will die." Kai climbed on the wolf before staring at the four with a cold glare. "I won't stop until my family is safe. This is goodbye Naruto thank you for being someone who never gave up on me. It helped me decided on what I wanted out of life." Kai smiled at his best friend before the wolf ran back to where the war was. Kai arrived just in time to see his dragon fighting the Gedo Statue. "That's enough you can come back now." The dragon vanished and the Gedo statue focused on Kai. "Ready Lobo?" When the wolf growled Kai grinned before his perfect Susano'o covered the wolf giving it access to the weapons it has. "What kind of monster is that!?" The surviving forces all watched in horror as the wolf and Statue started fighting. Kai was giggling like a mad man on top of the wolf watching the shinobi try to get away from the danger the two behemoths posed. "Kai is this really what you want?" Kai glanced over his shoulder at Ignis who had the others with him. "I told you all to guard them didn't I?" Ignis looked at his master. "Kaizer was bad at hiding his emotions from us. Your no different." Kai was quiet and Ignis walked up to him. Kai felt Ignis hug him and it nearly broke his walls. "We all want the best for you. What you said to Itachi earlier was wrong. I picked him to be who cared for you because he was a pure soul. I knew he could be trusted with you. We will return Lord Kai stay safe for us." With that Ignis and the others vanished leaving Kai with a trembling fist. "Why can't you bastards make it easy for me and hate me also." Kai growled before the Statue was lifted into the air by a singularity. "I'm so damn tired of people not doing what I want! Planetary Devastation!" Kai watched as the Statue was covered in debris until it turned into a giant ball which began to fall. "I'm so damn tired of these human emotions!" Kai aimed his hands at the ball and he poured chakra into them. Soon an orb of chakra formed in Kai's hands that he crushed between them. "Purge." Suddenly it began to rain and the fighting forces noticed that the rain disintegrated whatever it touched. "Kai are you sure this is what you truly want? I know you better then Ignis and even he can see the pain in you." Kai sighed hearing Lobo and he laid on the wolf feeling the rain as well as listening to the screams of pain. "I just want to save my family." Kai wasn't sure which family that meant anymore. "So why not save them both? You already have all nine in you and even if you can't go back to the Leaf you can go home we set the island up so no one but us can enter its barrier." Kai thought of what Lobo said and he raised his hand which stopped the rain. "Do you really think I'd be able to stay away or my uncle would stay away?" Lobo didn't answer Kai who snapped his fingers and the Alliance shinobi were healed instantly. "I'll try it someone else's way I guess." Kai sighed before jumping off Lobo and landing by the shinobi who were fighting the Akatsuki on the coast. "Tobi you can come get the statue I'll be back for it after I'm done here." I look at the boss of the Akatsuki to see him glaring at me before he snatched the statue away and left. "Kai what is the meaning of this?" I see Shikamaru and the others looking at me. "I changed my mind. I brought back the others and I'll help against the Akatsuki. But after this I have a message for Naruto and Sasuke." Kai told his message to his friends and the three look at him. "Why don't you say it yourself?" Kai smiled at the others. "Because I'm a wanted man Shikamaru. Even if I help you win the war I am the former Akatsuki member Z. I killed a lot of people back then and I doubt I'll be welcomed home." Kai waved then vanished. He touched down in the HQ for the Alliance and he looked at Tsunade who was looking at him like she's seen a ghost. "You know Naruto has gotten stronger huh? So has my uncle." Kai stood up and placed an envelope on the table. "As payment for what I did I've left you some intel you probably would like."
