Jason helped me to my feet again. After regaining balance Tim put down the weights he was messing with. Then came over to me and the others and we left the workout room. When we got downstairs to the dining room Alfred was getting orange juice poured in cups.
I sat between Dick and Jason finding out that sometimes they would argue and Damian would threaten someone with bringing out his katanas. Alfred put eggs, pancakes, and bacon on everyone's plate.
As we ate, the banter and laughter between the guys continued, and I found myself being drawn into their world. I listened to their stories of crime-fighting and their experiences with Bruce, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for each of them in their own unique ways. It was a breakfast full of warmth, camaraderie, and a feeling of belonging that I hadn't experienced in a long time.
After breakfast, we all helped clear the table and wash the dishes. Once everything was clean and put away, I decided to go back to the workout room.
