"Gorgeous! You coming?" Draco's voice broke me out of my gaze.
There he was, with her all over him. Right here, in the common room. Like he didn't break up with her, because of me. Like I was nothing. He was proving it to me in the tiniest of ways, but nonetheless proving it.
"Yes. I'm coming!" I yelled back, following him to the drink table.
He poured 4 shots, me, himself, Enzo and Theo, "to this fucker, finally being 17!"
"Cheers!" We all screamed in unison, as we each downed the fiery shot of whiskey.
It burned so good, and just showed me the type of night it was going to be. I wasn't complaining, perhaps this was just what I needed.

The room was blurry now, and I felt the liquid courage burning in my stomach.
I just felt so free. I didn't know how to quite explain it, it's like for this moment in time all my worries completely disappeared.
