"So, I saw you had a little too much fun for you birthday." Hana snorted. "I almost wish I could have been apart of that."
Jimin buried his face in one of the pillows on Hana's bed. "A few days down the line and I still feel the burn of that Vodka."
"You know you're not exactly the drinking type." Hana reminded, folding clothes that were fresh out the dryer.
"I know, but I just wanted to have a good time." Jimin admitted. "Even though I've always held some sort of resentment towards alcohol."
"Do you even remember anything from the other night?"
"All I remember is ordering the drinks. Hobi told me the he and the guy that brought us the drinks took me home."
"Yup. That was the infamous Yoongi, my cousin. I wanted to properly introduce the two of you, but it seems fate had a better plan." Hana shrugged.
"THAT was your coursin?!" Jimin sat up quickly. "He's so mean!"
"I told you, he's rough around the edges, but I promise you, he means well." Hana nodded. "Anyway, Yoongi told me that he and Seung got in a heated argument, and then you got sick and ended up in the bathroom. While you were in there Hanji tried calming Seung down, but it wasn't working, so they left, leaving you and Hoseok to fend for yourselves."
"No way.." Jimin groaned. "I can't believe them."
"But, Yoongi came to the rescue."
"When's the next time he'll be in town? I wanna thank him." Jimin asked his friend.
"He usually helps me out at the bar on the weekends, so I guess stop by this Saturday." Hana told him. "By the way, how's bartending school going?"
"It's not as hard as I thought it would be." Jimin yawned, and laid back on the bed, getting comfortable as if it were his own. "I've got a few days left, though."
"Are you excited to be working at the bar soon?"
"Kind of. You make it look so fun."
"That's because it is fun. You'll see soon enough."
----
Those few days had passed and Jimin was now an official bartender. "Aren't you proud of me? I went out a found a job." Jimin paced throughout their room trying to find something to wear to work.
"It's about time." Seung grumbled and rolled over on their bed, falling back asleep.
Jimin stopped, and watched Seung for a long while. "Are you going to be home later? I wanna make dinner for you."
"Probably not."
"I honestly don't get it. What are you always going out for. Why don't you ever invite me?"

"Because, I already spend enough time with you when I'm home."
"Well, that's a lie." He had no idea why he even bothered with that guy sometimes. It wasn't like Seung really cared about him, anyway. So, why did Jimin keep trying, when Seung often made it clear that he didn't care? But, he seemed so sincere on Jimin's birthday. He even went as far as staying sober two days prior. So, that must have meant something, right? That must have meant Seung wanted to better himself for Jimin- for the sake of their relationship. Or maybe, Jimin was surviving off of wishful thinking.
---
"It's your first day at the bar as an employee. How does that make you feel?" Hana asked, while wiping each table down before opening.
"I feel the same, more or less."
"Just wait until the customers start coming." Hana nodded.
"What if I mess up someone's drink?" Jimin asked, looking up at all the different types of liquor sitting neatly on a glass shelf.
"Then start over. A lot of people that come here won't mind."
"What about the ones that do? Y'know? The rude impatient ones?" Jimin walked behind the bar.
"I'll handle them, don't worry." Hana assured him.
Luckily for Jimin, it was Monday, which meant the bar wouldn't be as crowded as it would be on the weekend. Throughout the day, Jimin managed to collect some tips simply because he was 'good-looking' according to the men and women tipping him.
"See, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Hana patted the latter on the back, once it was finally time to close the bar. "You did pretty good with tips on your first night."
"Why didn't you offer me this job sooner?" Jimin snorted, while counting his tips.
"I didn't need the help until recently." Hana told him. "I tried to get Yoongi to work here full-time but he refused, saying he can only do weekends."
"Well, now you have me here full-time."
"Which is a big relief." Hana admitted. "I can't thank you enough, Minnie."
"Anything for a friend."
----
A few weeks had went by and Jimin was enjoying his job more and more. It really helped him keep his mind off of Seung, who to absolutely no one's surprise, became more and more distant. During the small break he managed to have while the bar was relatively empty, Jimin sighed heavily and began wiping the dry liquor from the bar's countertop. While lost in thought, A pair of bloody hands came into contact with the freshly cleaned countertop, causing Jimin to jump. "Hey, I just cleaned that!" Jimin shouted, not yet caring who the injured hands belonged to.
