You were on the set for the shooting of Guardian's 3 and had met with a few clients, including director James Gunn. You and Karen had been great friends and one time lovers but that didn't come between the work you did for her and the great acting she did. You and her met when you had signed her and got her the first Guardians which led to bigger and bigger things including Jumanji. She caught you and Katee Sackhoff fucking once on the set of Oculus, a horror film you had gotten for both of them and that led to her own curiosity which happened at a hotel at the golden globes a year from that day. She asked for you to come to the set as she needed advice and the plan was to go to lunch once her scenes for the day were shot and the process of removing all of the prosthetics were completed. She had decided to keep her hair for this shoot but had still cut off most of the length so the process took a little longer.

You met in the lobby when she texted you an hour plus later that she had finally finished and she gave you a big hug as she asked how your mom was and what was going on with you. You drove to the little restaurant she wanted to go to and you talked about work and your mother and she let her accent come through when she talked away from set as she was warm and easy to get along with as she was as down to earth as they came in the business. You made small talk for a bit before you asked what was going and why she was wanting to have the meeting. She laments that she was done with Marvel and was wanting to go back to independent movies and become a more hands on behind the scenes talent then on screen. You smirked as she reminded you a lot of Bryce and you said you'd negotiate a buyout and that she'd probably have to do at least one more role which she said she was fine with.
