You had flown a few weeks back to Beijing and met up with Sofia Boutella for the weekend before going to meet with Lei Zhou about hitting back at CAA. Lei made a few calls and sent some emails to Damien showing that he had his own fair share of dirt that would cause issues. Damien asked what Lei wanted and you took over the conversation from the phone call and told him to get rid of his info about his personal life and it didn't have to go beyond this. Damien was having none of it but Lei went on a list of details he had gathered and that he would be giving the files to you for you to leak or give to the press should Damien go through with his threats.

Damien didn't respond and merely said time will tell and hung up angrily as Lei told you that he wouldn't do anything but in case he did, he would make sure nothing got out, as he had very powerful friends in the media. He gave you a USB drive and said to keep it somewhere safe and to call him if anything happened. You both went to his ledge and enjoyed a cigar before you asked what had happened between him and your father. He sighed and said you deserved to know and you perked up and he led you back inside and made himself a drink as he sat you down and closed his eyes.

He and your father were working on an international deal back in the early eighties, trying to secure funding that would allow Lei to build his company within the US and for your father to tap into international clients. Your mother was attempting. The biggest agency back then was William Morris, and they had found out your mother was in London talking to some producers and was wooing a big picture away from them. They had hired men to brutally attack her and she was raped. This horrified you as you had never known of this. Lei admits he had been in love with your mother, and was willing to work with your father because of her. Your father knew and the tension was always there but once word got back to them both about the attack, the two of them went to her and were by her side until she was well. The two then exacted a revenge that he could not talk about in detail yet as he didn't want to say anything while your mother was still alive, as she had made them promise not to do anything.
