You and Selena arrived at Kate Winslet's chateau in the hills about an hour after leaving the Oscar ceremony and it was pushing closer and closer to midnight. Still there were limos and cars dripping various people off and when you came to the front door you were greeted by a bodyguard looking bouncer who asked for names. You gave yours and Selena gave hers and he immediately moved and walkied someone who quickly walks over to the two of you in the large foyer. He asks for Selena to follow him and you looked a bit unsure but she said it should be fine as another person comes and tells you you're being waited on. You followed your man as Selena headed off with hers and you arrived a few minutes later into a large study where Kate and a few of her closest friends and some producers you knew were sitting and talking as she had her Oscar displayed on a large mantel. She smiled and came and hugged you as you cheek kissed her as the man headed out and closed the doors behind him as she asked how getting in was. You said it was fine if a bit strange and she smiled and said that she usually has to tighten things up as she has very specific parties.

You cocked your head and she offered to make you a drink as she asked how you felt about tonight. You watched her glide to the bar top and she made your drink or choice as you talked about all the feelings and emotions you had. Talking with your mom on the way here made everything even more surreal. She smiled and you went and sat in some lounge chairs as she offered you a cigar but you declined as she slipped at her drink and asked about what had happened with Damien.
