Following the return of Vince McMahon to WWE after the endeavor merger with UFC, Paul "Triple H" Levesque and Stephanie McMahon had left and were working for AEW, Levesque as CEO and co head of creative as a Stephanie served on the creative board side of Warner Brothers Discovery and was helping to overlooking the new massive deal AEW had with the entertainment conglomerate. A lot of wrestlers were looking to leave WWE for the other companies or for Hollywood itself but a decent amount enjoyed the freedom and perks Vince gave to those who remained loyal to him or pledged to be loyal to him again.

There was a lot of unease and change and her husband's injury didn't help matters as it came at a bad time but that things were going to be okay.
