The dream had really thrown you off your game but you weren't exactly going to allow that to interfere with what you needed done when it came to trying to woo Doja Cat away from her current label. You were trying to get more musical acts as concerts were big revenue streams that could sustain entire projects, and with your agency becoming prominent in major casting decisions now, it would be good to have offsetting cash flow in case, or rather, when, certain projects don't exactly hit it big. Doja knew the leverage she had and so while her little cavalcade of pushers and movers and yes men stayed a bit behind, you knew she was working you over as you went to some of the high end shops and stores around South Beach, on your dime of course.

Doja had a particular style and lifestyle she was accustomed too now, and after her big Grammy win validated her as an artist, she wasn't exactly hiding any kind of humility, though there was a sweet and simple interior to her that she hid away in the public. Thirty grand later, you eventually got her to take a lunch break, where the two of you could talk one on one and as you ordered drinks you asked her why she was even bothering with you as you were getting the feeling she wasn't really interested in leaving her current set up. She smirked and said she just wanted to have someone foot the bill for some of her stuff, but that she owed you another chance even though you had passed on her before, which was a nice little jab you couldn't really argue against as you and Alex had both decided against signing her as you focused more on locking up Taylor Swift at the time to afford her her musical independence which in itself wasn't necessarily the wrong move, and even Doja said as much as she was working towards a similar model.
