You and Zach Braff were sitting at the edge of his pool, legs in the water as it was a beautiful California day, even in late November. He was congratulating you on the golden globe nominees for your film, as you had gotten 8 nabs, three for acting for Pattinson, Winslet and Lea, as well as best drama, writing, and some production ones. Zach was also nominated for a tv show he worked behind the scenes on for Apple TV. The two of you had been friends since your dad had helped Bill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs cast the show and though Zach was a good deal older he took you under his wing and your friendship had been strong ever since. His girlfriend, the beautiful British talent Florence Pugh, was swimming in the pool, doing slow backstrokes back and forth from one end to another as she would pop her head to the side and give you guys a look or a smile as you would smile back. She had signed years ago with the agency and you had gotten her some acclaim with her roles in Midsommar, and helped break her into superstar territory with her role in Black Widow, where she was now set up to play a bigger part in the MCU going forward.

Zach asks how things were going with the ladies and you could see Florence perking up as you talked about adding Michelle since the last time you had talked to him about it. Florence swam over as asked how you were going to manage it all, and you spent the next hour or so talking to the couple about your love life. Zach eventually gave his girlfriend a look and smirked as he patted you on the shoulder and got up as he wrapped himself in a towel as he had to go and shoot a few episodes for his podcast with Donald Faison. You watched him head inside as Florence swam up between your legs and hovered there with a big grin.
