As the girls arrived at JFK International Airport, they were greeted by a sea of people eagerly waiting for them. The overwhelming support from international fans took them by surprise.

Fansites from Korea, who had followed them from Incheon, were already busy capturing every moment with their cameras. It was a clear indication that their time in New York was going to be filled with excitement and busy schedules.

However, they knew that they would truly enjoy the city once they finished all their commitments.

After their arrival, the girls headed straight to the hotel to rest before their planned night out. While the older members battled with jetlag from the long flight, Eunchae seemed to be in awe of the view outside. She positioned herself near the window, gazing at the towering buildings that adorned the New York City skyline. Everything about New York fascinated her.

"Wow... I can't believe I'm in New York now," Eunchae whispered to herself, her fingers lightly pressing against the glass window. She couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder as she looked down at the bustling streets below. The view and the buildings that she had only seen in movies were now right in front of her, making her heart race with excitement.

Yunjin, who emerged from her room wearing a different outfit, noticed the youngest member adorably engrossed in the view. A smile formed on her lips as she quietly unpacked her luggage, not wanting to disturb Eunchae's precious moment of awe.

The girls were staying together in a hotel suite, with the entire floor reserved for their crew. It was a space where they could relax, bond, and prepare for the exciting days ahead in the city that never sleeps.

As the evening approached and the rest of the girls were still resting, Minha sat alone at the dining table, enjoying her steak while taking in the breathtaking view from the wide-open curtains.

Eunchae had mentioned the beauty of the view, and Minha didn't want to miss out on experiencing it herself.

With her laptop open beside her, Minha took advantage of her free time to catch up on work. It seemed like there was always something to be done, and she was used to balancing her personal and professional responsibilities.

However, she couldn't help but feel that having someone with her would provide a welcome distraction from work.

Just as she was engrossed in her meal and work, her phone rang, interrupting her focus. It was her sister, Minhee. Minha answered the call, maintaining her calm demeanor even though she dreaded hearing about her father, Heejun.

"Yes, Minhee," Minha greeted her sister.

"Unnie, did you arrive safely in New York?" Minhee asked, concern evident in her voice.

Minha confirmed, "Yes, we arrived a few hours ago. Why? Is something wrong?"

Minhee hesitated before responding, "Not me, but... appa."

Minha's heart sank at the mention of her father. Heejun's gambling addiction was a source of immense stress for Minha and her siblings.

During Minha's long hiatus, Minhee had been the one to stay by her side, sharing the burdens of their father's actions. Minhee had been updating Minha on everything, from Heejun quitting his job to his constant requests for money.

Keeping her composure, Minha asked, "What happened? Did he do something bad?"

"No, unnie. It seems like he came home last night, drunk and beaten up," Minhee explained, her voice filled with worry.

The situation weighed heavily on Minha's mind. She despised her father's gambling habits and the financial burden he placed on their family. It had reached a point where Heejun would ask for significant amounts of money from Minha's siblings, Minjun and Minhee, causing additional stress as they struggled to balance their own expenses and studies.
